How many of you smoke?
I've been smoking on and off for ten or so years and i can't manage to stop for more than three days.

Psilocybin mushrooms, got me to quit on my first try and was good for 10 months. Then a string of family deaths happened and I started back up.
the 3 day hump is the absolute worst, if you smoke weed, it will help you. If you dont, avoid alcohol and car rides and other triggers for smoking.
After a week, youll get random very strong cravings, if you can withstand them, then youll be set until a seriously stressful situation happens.

Accept that you will live with urges forever, dont expect them to be gone ever.

>t. quit a year ago and still has urges to smoke.

Same issue. Was down to one a day last week and had a bad day yesterday and smoked three. I dunno man, I guess I’m just living with it now.

I don't think you're supposed to smoke mushrooms.

I quit the nicotine jew literally overnight with MDMA

Truly the best way to quit is not starting at all. Im glad i never started smoking, drinking, doing drugs or any other vice

Huh. I tend to smoke when I roll. But mostly because it's a social thing- people go for a smoke, I go out with them, then ask for a cig because my judgement's been impaired.
Yeah, I should quit MDMA, I don't think my body or mind can take it anymore.

Nah, it's better to try and then stop. That way you actually know what you're missing out on and why you stopped.
That doesn't work for heroin though.

There's one ecig called juul. It's not like the other vapes, this one actually satisfied my nicotine cravings. After a few months of using juul I ended up quitting the juul. Now I smoke nothing. It's a very good product, give it a go.

I stopped caring about smoking and getting cravings for them as I approached enlightenment.
By the end I didn't even have to try.

How did you reach enlightenment

no you microdose them lol, whether its tea, or in a paste form.

smoked for 5 years and stopped 5 months ago
was relatively easy and nowhere near as I expected (used to smoke a pack of red rothmans per day)
life's much better now

I eventually figured out that I wasn't even chasing the buzz from the ciggie anymore because I could barely feel it anyway. It was the physical act of smoking that I wanted.
>inb4 freudian hurhur so put a dick in your mouth instead
Try chewing gum or eating sunflower seeds (with shells), something to keep your mouth busy instead of smoking. You'll probably have some withdrawal symptoms like cold sweats and insomnia, but if you can get past 3-5 days you're probably in the clear.

I can't get any. Apparently no dealer carries them since the demand is so low and everyone just grows their own.
I don't care enough to bother with that shit, I only trip once a year at best.

I agree with ya chief, desu the best bet seems like the deepweb but its not worth the pain in the ass and stress it would bring

faggot

this. juul is also great because it can save you a lot of money and help you control your dosage better than cigs.

I'm 4 months quit, smoked pack a day for over 10 years. Someone here convinced me all you needed to do to quit is have one awful terrible stress filled week without cigarettes, and the rest would carry itself on momentum
Like and other anons said, 3 days is the hardest hump but it never really goes away. After about 2 months craving taper off a little bit, but I still always want cigarettes all the time like a junkie

Started three years ago, up until 6 months ago it was one pack a week. Now its more like 10-12 cigs a day. Good thing is I roll them so I put really little tobacco inside. But yeah it sucks

If you want to quit you have to stop smoking in your house and car. Thats the first thing. If I have to smoke, I go for a walk, thats the rule. Slowly eliminate areas where you allow yourself to smoke

I snus, but smoke occasionally when I feel like it

>smoking on and off
>can't manage to stop for more than three days
You've been smoking for 10 years. you literally have cancer now.

There’s a lot of joys in life you’re missing.
>inb4 I dont need drugs to have fun

Smoker for 22 years. If I knew how to quit I would tell you. Never start is the best advice I can give.

quitters never win

Cigarettes have extreme health benefits that have been forcibly covered up by the government. I smoke a pack a day for vitality.

Read Allen Carr's book.

based

Smoked a pack or more a day for about 9 years, been 2 years since my last one. I just forced myself to chain smoke cigs until it made me sick.

There’s some study out there that was done for alcoholics as well with the same idea. Basically made myself associate cigarettes with feeling sick and quickly lost any desire to keep smoking.

I've tried this but it only worked for a couple days, I'm not sure how else I can quit.

Dude you have to try it. Get the shrooms real dry and roll it in a joint.

got heavily drunk three days in a row and smoked very much too the point i couldnt go on smoking whilst beeing hungover. Thats how i avoided the first week of heavy cravings and after that week they were mild so i only had to have some will power. Its that easy m8, we are all gonna make it

this

This. My friends are all stoners, max I've had is a cigarette once and got a tiny bit high on second hand smoke when they hotboxed my flat on new years, so I went for a run.

Smoked for roughly 7 years, quit exactly one week ago.
>cardio goes smoother
>better lifts
>skin looks a lot better
>don’t stink of cigarettes
You can do it brahs, it’s worth it.

you didn't quit the right way my nigger

read Allen Carr's The Easy Way and it will remove your lifetime of cravings... it's fuckin amazing

t. 10 years never thought i'd ever quit

If it didn't cause cancer...I'd smoke...

Only under certain conditions, probably through a mechanism of tissue damage in organisms without adequate nutrition (habitual tobacco greatly increases metabolic rate and thus nutritional demands, if not met this could cause activation of ketogenic pathways and thus increased FFA circulation)

Stick to it bro. I smoked pack a day for 9yrs and 2 years since quitting I feel noticeably better. It definitely takes some time to shake the side effects because they put bronchiodialotors in cigs so your lungs may actually feel somewhat worse for a month or two.

I recommend doing some breathing exercises as well to help your lungs start the process of clearing the shit out of them that they can.

The coughing up mucus crap started today, but still not craving a cig weirdly enough.

what's the point of smoking?

Something something idle hands. Occupy yourself, even if it's only mentally. Learn to disassociate other habits from the urge to smoke. People often will do something specific before/during/after the act of smoking and that routine becomes engraved after a while. For instance, I used to smoke after large meals so the feeling of being full will trigger that urge to light up. You have to try to fill that void with something else. Obviously something healthy or constructive is preferred but really it can be anything. Meditation (literally just breathing techniques) is great for this.

The more you dwell on that urge, the stronger it will become.

It's healthy, hence why so many unhealthy people are drawn to it.

not much, people do it a few times for one reason or another and keep smoking because they're addicted to it. I started smoking while i was a neet and i ran out of weed. Once you're addicted to it you make up a bunch of contradictory reasons to keep smoking, it relaxes you but wakes you up in the morning. It's social but you stand alone in the cold to do it. It's all just addiction driving smokers.

Imagine unironically believing this

You start to look cool. You continue because you're addicted. You quit when you get tired of planning your life in 45 minute intervals and coughing up black shit.

Hard checked

giga satan of truth

Don't smoke cigarettes but I do a cigar/pipe/snus from time to time, I treat it like alcohol, I don't drink every night just because, I drink when I go out or if I'm wrenching, you don't drink at work, it's just too much. I never had a nicotine craving

For me it relieves stress, anger, frustrations, sadness, and anxiety in 5 minutes or less all for roughly $5-$6. No pill, gym session, HIIT session, iodine, vidya, sex, alcohol, or any other type of drug can get me feeling in a better mood more quickly and efficiently as cigarettes can. Problem is that I have an addictive personality AND have been unemployed for 2 months putting in apps like crazy after realizing insurance wasn't my thing. Ironically I smoke less when employed but when the first thought of the morning when you wake up and night when you go to bed is, "Look at yourself. This is how you wanna be at 24", smoking seems like the best option to silence those voices. If they didn't make me feel like utter shit and ruin my workouts I'd probs be smoking some right now until I get a new job.

/blog

I was hooked on cigarettes for three years before I quit, two three packs a week and a pack a day at my peak.

I switched to vaping, lowering the nic from 3mg to 1.5mg, and never replacing the coils, so that shit would get gunked up and have a harsh hit

Eventually you get sick of the harshness with barely any nic rush

No cravings

>If they didn't make me feel like utter shit and ruin my workouts I'd probs be smoking some right now until I get a new job.

Lemme rephrase: If they didn't make me feel like utter shit after the third 1 of the day*

Based

I smoke when I drink or when I'm with friends who smoke. I honestly don't understand how people get addicted. I smoked a week straight one time just to see if it would be hard to quit and it's not.

I do get addicted to the most innocuous shit though. For a good 3 months I was addicted to benadryl, so I guess there are tradeoffs to everything.

The ones it's hard for are the people that really need it.

It made you look cool up until 2010 or something. It's really difficult to quit sadly.

Started when I was 16, everyone in my family smoked so I wanted to try it. Love at first puff and continued. I think my peak was when I had 3 packs in one night when I pulled an all nighter of drinking. Nowadays I only smoke 4 times a day and roll my own from tobacco I get. Countering this with boxing and cardio everyday I never feel like its damaging my lungs or anything. To each their own, the one thing I can't stand though are people sitting on their golden thrones thinking their better than others for never smoking. Good job, I don't care.

Combustion destroys psilocybin you retard

Literally just vape. Smoked for years until I finally bought a mouth fedora. Now can't even stand the smell of cigs.

Vaping unironically made me quit instantly.

is this bait? first time i ever heard smth like that.

It's 100% bullshit. From a memeflag, no less.

I have literally never seen a refutation of it, only dismissive, authoritarian responses like this.

I don't get why people even start smoking.
Why would you pay for something that slowly degrades your body from the inside?

(((Keep smoking it's good for you)))

I think i might have accidentally smoked last week while drunk and now i have this weird urge to do it again..

Just informations, go to the link and try to see if real or not

Just got past the three day hump and despite a mild craving walking past a smoker outside my office I've felt fine. What it took for me was getting it out of reach: threw away my cigs, gave away my vape, and didn't go to bars or any social setting where I know I'd be tempted to ask for/be offered one.

I smoked as an adolescent from about 16-22
I was able to quit smoking but i dip tobacco atleast once a day
Everytime i smell a cig or see them i cringe so i don't crave it anymore
But thw frequency that i dip compared to the frequency i used to smoke is night and
Smoking i used to crave one almost every 30-45 mins
And like i said i probably only dip once a day
If i do have a craving its for a dip not a ciggy

It was amazing how well that book worked. I tried everything, and reading that book did it. No cravings ever again after a couple weeks. 7 years smoke free now.

Stop dipping. Like now. One of the most disgusting things you can do. I used to pack my lip too so I know what I’m talking about

Coating your lungs with anything is going to hinder their natural functions, be it tar or memetrails. It just so happens that one of these things is an easily explainable phenomenon and doesn't harm your lungs to begin with. I'll let you decide which is which.

When I was addicted to
trap
porn a bad acid trip is what snapped me out of it. Haven't masturbated to them since. I think this is worth a shot.

This. Same as me, former smoker but mostly chewing tobacco. Can and a half a day for years, always had a dip in. Tripped on 5 grams for my first time, quit chew, got into AA (sober 1 1/2 years) and signed up for a marathon I dropped weight for and completed few months after (walked last 8 miles)

When I did give my gums a break and smoked I was over a pack a day, I get sick to my stomach at the smell. You go into the trip telling yourself you want to quit and it changes your brain. Lots of studies on shrooms vs Chantex

>low IQ monkey starts smoking
>fucks up his health
>waaaah waaah the nicotine jew
Being white helps a lot

Been smoking close to 15 years, my son was born this Monday and I quit cold turkey and haven’t had a weak or bad moment since.

So basically; get a son!

Yeah right. My neighbor shat himself dying, bloated and bald in his own bed at less than 70-90 pounds not because he got cancer from smoking 2 packs each day but from le chemtrails :333

I'm imagining you hallucinating trap demons tormenting you in a geometric nightmare dimension

Smoked a pack a day when I was in high school, then switched to vaping, then quit vaping. Honestly the biggest change I noticed was the smell, I didn't have to wash my clothes as much. I still smoke a cigar occasionally and it's a way better habit, especially when you're doing it out of enjoyment rather than dependence.

He died because he probably underwent lobe-/pneumonectomy, chemo/rad/immunotherapies etc. instead of fixing the underlying issue.

>he got cancer from smoking 2 packs each day
>meaning of the word NUANCE
Not sure if done on purpose but you sound retarded user

black(lung)pill

Just buy a pussy stick. Honestly I’d rather look like a tool vaping than smoke darts.

honestly how mentally ill do you have to be to start smoking as a habit? i get party smokers, you get drunk, inhibitions lowered, you do something for a quick buzz, shit happens.

but the science around smoking is settled. no, i don't care about your cherry-picked cope article about how it's not THAT bad, or your stupid "heh, actually its good for you" bullshit. this shit kills you twenty years early, is incredibly expensive, and nearly impossible to quit unless you have no other stressors, for all the buzz you get out of a cup of coffee. If you smoke, you're actually degenerate. You throw your life away, harm the environment, and hurt the people in your vicinity for almost nothing. That's worse than any tranny could ever be.

plus, how stupid or psychotically depressed do you have to be to think starting is a good idea? like what shitty ass mental space were you in when you were like "i know, i'll start smoking this extremely addictive, damaging substance in exchange for a small buzz"

smoking is an all but sure sign you were either a loser growing up, gave up on life at some point, or have an IQ of less than 100

Attached: 15256362574368683.png (500x411, 77K)

I stoppd cigs easily but I can't stop myself from smoking one or two joints after work.

What?

kek

The kind of group you hand around with in your teen years, working service or labour jobs, starting as a social smoker, for women trying to stay in shape...

I don't smoke but it's quite disingenuous to look down on smokers as inferior beings, everyone has their vices be it sugar, cocaine, nicotine...have some empathy for others and try and learn from their mistakes.
