Should you stretch before or after lifting?

Should you stretch before or after lifting?

Dynamic stretches before, static afterwards.

Yes

how many

IT TELLS YOU RIGHT IN THE FUCKING STICKY

FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All of them.

This is so fucking dumb, how many people actually have three legs and are able to do this?

I have 3 legs but I can't do this

Who knew dicks could turn into legs. Has science gone to far ?

I hear using a massage roller on your muscles, during & after a workout, is good at minimizing soreness.

my glute (middle?) hurts after gym can barely.
save yourself some trouble, do all the stretches

are you saying that between your glutes, your asshole, hurts??

if you look at it upside down hes dancing

Never because stretching is for faggots. Never stretched in my life and still no injuries.

Literally pointless. Just warm up with an empty bar.

Yeah stretching is super important if you are taking lifting at all seriously. Before and after. Also doing a light set before you start your actual sets on a lift is kind of like stretching too. Anyone who says they never stretch and don’t get injured either don’t push themselves hard in lifting or they actually do stretch they just don’t realize it (aka low weight sets before real sets)

This

IT DOESN'T WORK AAAAAGGGHHH

>asshurt.jpg

I just accidently the whole thing

I used to stretch a lot but discovered that it isn't necessary it you properly warm up, which you should do anyway. The ROM of compounds includes the physiological range your muscles should be stretched.

static stretches before a workout, especially lifting, is dangerous you absolute cretinous mong

During. Between sets for 30 seconds on each side.

Stretching before is retarded. Stretching right after is useless.
I stretch before going to sleep. I unironically do it.

>foam roll before
>static stretch after
>foam roll at home when you have free time
Just stretch everyday when you remember to. If you're serious about fitness, you should be looking after your muscles anyway.

thats the opposite of the Platz pill user

the sticky is absolutely trash

based and redpilled

>Static stretching is the only stretching
retard
