I’m a newbie and only go to the gym 3 times a week for an hour each time. Should I go more? I’m following stronglifts.
If you don't need rest days, is it because you're not working out hard enough?
Going to the gym and how much you benefit are functions in a logarithmic graph, but you still benefit greatly from every additional day you go per week.

Let's say you train 6 days a week with one rest day, does the rest day have to be consistent or is it fine to switch from let's say a rest day sunday to a rest day monday but keeping the same regiment ? Also rest day is always cardio day.
