Why are fat people so much funnier than skinny people, Jow Forums?

I have always been told from a pretty young age that I'm funny and was also always overweight from about age 12 until mid 2017 when I decided to get serious and do something about my weight. after losing 120lbs I realized that thin people dont have to be funny in order to be liked. junior high me likely started using humor as a coping mechanism/way to fit in and it just stuck without me ever realizing what i was doing.
