You should show up. Women will often give you expectant stares when they want you. They are so passive aggressive that you can tell when one is a ho when she goes straight for you.
They pass those flyers out to everyone, they just want as many people to show up as possible so they can get their forced charity event over with quickly. A sorority girl who gives you one of those flyers will not appreciate you specifically showing up unless you’re very attractive. You’re just some guy they roped into paying a few dollars too many for a shitty sandwich that requires no skill or time to make yourself.

I vehemently disagree my enlightened brother! We have not (yet!) implemented automation in such an all-encompassing way that the lesser peoples of the world are obsolete! For the time being we must continue to allow the serfs to prattle on, that we may continue to take our just due as their lords.
Automation is a meme and will not result in less work. People's wants are unbounded and so there will always be more work to do to meet them.
That doesn't mean that automation won't change things - it will - but it won't mean the end of work. More than anything the biggest risk of automation is exacerbating inequality to an even greater degree.
