Same experience, except I’m a home gymer.
Lentils make me full as shit and bloated. I read something online that mixing lentils with rice makes a perfect protein so I did that. Took me 3 hours and 2 liters of water to get through a single bowl. Eat eggs instead.

Red split lentils seem to be the most versatile in my experience, they take up flavors well and provide a good base for sauces

Added some to my chicken and veggies the other day, turned out pretty stellar. Had it for dinner yesterday, no farts yet. Wouldn't really want to eat something that's MOSTLY lentils though.

Eat differently. After a year of oats, I started eating them every second day and my shits started improving after two days. Instead, I just eat pasta for breakfast. It's pretty weird but I usually go to the gym after breakfast so it helps. Apparently, the fibers can fuck your shits up if you have too much

Can confirm, meal prepped chicken and lentils for the weak, don't think I went 30 seconds without ripping one.
