work them 3x a week. squatting 10x10 + accesories should do the trick. otherwise, you can do what i have done the past 3 months 2x a week, after not seeing any results in meme leg press and quad extensions:
warm up all the way up to your 3RM. after making that 3rep set, drop the weight to your 6RM, do 3 sets with that weight. Drop again to your 8RM, another 3 sets. Same with 10RM, 12RM and finally (after 13 sets), drop the weight to 1pl8. do as many reps you can, until failure, 2 sets. this last 2 sets have to be just chasing the pump, get as much blood flow as you can.
rest time between sets is usually 2-3mins.
after 3 months of progressive overloading this routine, i can say that i get insane doms EVERYTIME, from 2 to 4 days after the training.
