Yup, one of the nicer ones too. There's actually two gyms in Rec - one for the general student population and one for the wrestlers.

roll tide brothers, I personally go to Old Rec but I dislike it there quite a bit unless you go late (post 9 PM weekdays, 7 PM fri/sat). 8 PM is cardio bunny gym thot time. Old Rec also has a problem with /frauds/ it seems. I see so many people who look fucking huge then I can tell when they go off cycle because they get small as shit and look really flat. Then you have the middle eastern manlets roiders who (I shit you not) have posing routines in the bathroom like they're stepping onto a stage. . It really seems like its the community gym for non-students as well so the amount of 30-60 year olds hogging equipment gets annoying sometimes

But the quantity of equipment is nice though.

Just want to let you know, your whole life you've likely been told that uni is the best time of your life and you should not take it for granted and that it's all down hill from there. I'm here to tell you it's all bullshit. Uni is a fuck load of fun but assuming you've got a decent degree and don't accidently knock some cutie up, post grad is wild fun.

>You've finally got real money
>You aren't told what you have to do
>You can work almost where ever you want
>You can make your own damn schedule
>You control your finances, instead of just getting a bill at the beginning of the semester
>You interact with a lot more people. Different ages, nationalities, viewpoints, ect. Instead of a bunch of other uni students.
>You can finally live alone, in a reasonable sized apartment, and decorate it how you want.
>Ultimately if you aren't happy with what you're doing you can quit your job and move and start over without feeling like you've sunk a ton of resources into 2 years of a degree you decided you don't like.

Uni is fun as hell, but don't be anxious about post uni lads. It only gets better. Sad fags will lie to you about this.

Don't worry man, whenever I go there's plenty of less experienced lifters out and about. The "Chads" don't really care about anything other than their workout and mostly congregate in the back half of the free weights section.
