The thing that was really disgusting about this girl was her lack of shame. For years, she did horrible things and just didn't give a fuck about what an awful person she was. If someone confronted her on being a soulless psychopath, she'd deflect the conversation or blame her behavior on the drugs. Now that she is sober, she can't use drugs as an excuse. It does seem like she wants to be a better person, or at least has developed something approximating a sense of shame. She probably wants the videos deleted because she just wants her internet presence to dissipate.
I think people stalking and doxxing her family was the final straw. It was either that or the creepy user who took pictures of her at work, or the other user who wrote a 30 page essay on her.

She did have shame. She would apologize and mean it but then go back to her behaviors because we all encouraged them in a way and she was addicted. She felt genuine remorse. She did not delete out of shame, as she felt like she did improve herself and was becoming better. People never would let her forget and would come to her work and stalk her and that was that final straw. She wanted to stay not because of no shame but because she wanted to try to prove she was better and because she would feel like she lost the battle if she left. She said it was a mental health break and not forever.
