I just hit that record last week too after being stuck at 260 for what felt like an eternity. It feels good bro.
95% of the guys I see at the gym don't bench 225 for reps. It's significant.

Granted, I live in a mid sized town. But true 315 benchers are still uncommon enough to impress townies

I'm 2 months into lifting. Here's my current:
OHP 35 kgs (5x5)
bench 52.5 kgs (5x5)
Squat 77.5 kgs (5x5)
diddly 95 kgs (3x5)

Should I give up? My upper body is so weak. I don't know how much my form plays a role.

relax champ. you're only two months into this game, and not everyone has the best genetics when it comes to lifting. it'll take time but b patient. lift, eat, sleep and you'll make steady gains

Form plays no roll. In fact, the more you improve your form the lower your numbers inevitably go. So what do you wanna work on dog, “form” (a French word) or motherfuckin POWER?

uhhh i guess just gradually increase weight? if you can successfully do 5x5 with 35kg then go up. if you stuck then maybe change up routine and have a day for just shoulder.

I failed 37.5 big time today, and barely squeezed out the last 35 kgs. At some point it's even difficult to understand why I can't "mobilize" my shoulder muscles.
