Sure OP. Here are a few bands I like and a small description of what they sound like. While it is easy to just post links, I think it is a very lazy thing to do.

>CarSeat Headrest
An alternative indie rock psychedelic band originally from Virginia. If you like drugs or are gay his lyrics might resonate with you a bit. Generally, he sounds like he is mumbling but the lyrics are deep. "Beach life in death" from Twin fantasy (2018) is a good starting point, but my favorite is "Hey, space cadet" off of his 2014 album How to Leave Town.

A rock band with a great female singer. They just published a new single a few days ago. Her voice gives me chills. Anything from II is good especially "Asleep" and "Antabus"
Another band with a female lead is Varsity. I would recommend "So Sad, So Sad"

If trippy music is more of your taste I have to recommend Jack Stauber. "Two Time" is his most popular song, but I prefer "Inchman"

I've linked this band here before and I'll do it again. Unique progressive rock/metal, weird vocal work and eccentric lyrics. Each album sounds different than the previous one, no song is alike. I just wish they would've gotten more recognition back in the day.
