Run 10min, ive always found after the first 10min i kinda go on autopilot

Running is about mental strength more than physical at a certain point. You should treat it as meditation and never run with headphones.
If you don't feel like dying you're not trying increase the speed, get gassed like a motherfucker faster for cardio gains.

I love running but I made some modifications.
1. Do it indoors.
2. Do it stationary (running in place)
3. Do it with a heavy barbell on your back
4. Instead of moving legs one after the other, bend both at the same time so you drop down, then extend them at the same time to rise up.
