There's something about the scientific mind that makes it stay away from risks and things you can't control such as the effects of drugs.
There are exceptions though but I think it's rare.
Personally I've never even tasted alcohol or had sex, and I'm autistically waiting for a pure virgin like myself. Many STEM guys are like this, even though it doesn't work in today's degenerate world.
IQ doesn't really matter, what matters is whether you're willingly studying STEM or not.
