My mom calls the cops on me pretty much any time I attempt to move out. I'm 19, a legal adult, and I don't think she has legal guardianship over me. Last year I attempted to move out and she got me involuntary committed to a hospital for around 45 days by hospital security.
What can I do to ensure this doesn't happen the next time I attempt to move out? Can I take legal actions against her (personal injury lawsuits, restraining orders, etc.)?

Yes she's a single mother. She has many problems. I honestly can't believe it happened to me either. Apparently doctors can hospitalize me any time she calls them claiming I'm acting erratic.

Well, I did. She just called the doctor saying I was acting strange after I walked to the house of a person who I thought would help me one day without telling her. The doctor said something like, ?he can come voluntarily or we can force him.? I'd sue the hospital but apparently it?s very unfeasible.

I'm a simple man of straightforward actions. I would tell her in person that I hate her guts for what she did and I want to move as far as possible. I'd also threaten her with lawsuit, record the entire thing on multiple sound recording devices (phone and computer in the room) for the court. Remain as calm as possible for the doctors. Totally wreck her at first hearing, sue for everything. Move out and just bank the cash. She's a psycho and you need to cut the strings.

I've been hospitalized involuntarily due to bipolar and drugs and it's a fucking madhouse, only got out because I agreed to go to a rehab (((that the head doctor was tied to.))) They gave me good meds though.
Did they (((medicate))) you? What was the basis for their diagnosis, was it bullshit or are you a schizo in denial? That said I was pretty close to that diagnosis, glad I wasn't in there for the full detox.
