first of all, the 800m is 70% aerobic 30% anaerobic , and that's for TRAINED runners. An untrained gymcel dweeb (most of this board) literally won't even have the athleticism to sprint a full 100m. Stopping for a "few seconds" is redundant, your muscles need 2 minutes to replenish ATP stores to actually sprint effectively again. In the meantime, you're literally just doing aerobic work

What does your question even mean? Sprinting what event? I told you if I was coaching a 200m runner I would still make them do 10-15 miles a week. If you want to excel at all you need an aerobic base for adequate work capacity. You will not improve your 100m time running 3x40m twice a week
If you literally can’t run a 5k go do couch to 5k. In the meantime go to a track and get times for your 100, 200, and 400 for a baseline

sprinting boosts cortisol and adrenaline much more compared to jogging at a moderate pace and length. of course endurance-length jogging is terrible for health, and sprinting is still good despite triggering adrenaline since it is an amazing muscle workout and androgen activator but again shouldn't be abused to the point you feel like shit after. also, both types of running have their use, jogging is better for cardio in my experience.

No there is no cookie cutter guide because technique is important to sprinting. Also you can't go from couch to sprinting. You need to learn to run before you can sprint.
This is fine for a bit of moderate intensity running, probably what OP wants. It is not going to make you a sprinter and you're not going to get faster.
The fact is that doing some meme sprints is not going to make you look like an Olympic sprinter and is definitely not going to make you fast like one. You still won't even be able to keep up with a marathon runner (at their marathon pace) for 100m.
