If you could choose right now, would you rather:

Add 10kg/22lbs of pure muscle to your body right now

Or add 100kg/225lbs to all of your compound lifts (+100 kg to your 1RM) instantly

lifts breh

22lbs pure muscle
isn't that what this is all about?

I'm not trying to impress the sweaty guys in the gym, I'm trying to impress girls

reminder that 1pl8 bench looks impressive to everyone except the small segment of gym-goers that know what they are doing

I don't do any compounds, so 22lbs of pure muscle holy shit that'd be sick

100kg to the compound lifts so I can brag about my 6pl8 bench.

The lifts it'd be crazy if I stayed the same weight but deadlifted 750

Take the muscle, not least because it'll be useful outside of the gym.

what fucking weakling gym do you go to?

>add 100kg to every compound lift
>this somehow doesn't make you stronger in life

>implying all your joints wouldn't immediately snap

Most strength gains are neurological adaptations letting you recruit more of your muscle fiber at once, so I'll take the 22lbs, keep training, and eventually have both.

10kg of muscle of course
with that addition of muscle mass I would be far stronger at everything not just the gym lifts
not to mention I would look a lot better

Id say that about 2pl8 but not 1pl8 Jesus.

Is the gym you go to for preteens only?

>add 100kg/225lbs to all of your compound lifts
I already look great, and if I had this kind of strength the 22lbs of muscle would follow in no time anyway. No brainer.

Oh man, I remember when I was 14 and just started lifting, and 1pl8 seemed impressive. Then I hit it a month later and came to understand the concept of noob gains. I was a fucking skeleton eating nothing but carbs and sugar too.

this

that's because you actually go to the gym
normies have no idea that 1pl8 isn't hard. They just see a big weight on either side like in cartoons

If I get 100kg to all my lifts I can then do volume work and get fucking huge hehe

Jesus Christ this has to be a meme oh Lord

Is the +100kg to each lift or in total? If in total I'll take the 10kg of muscle and easily get the +100kg to my total, if not closer to +200kg. If it's to each lift I'll take the +300kg to my total and hold 3/4 world records in my weight class.

>Add 100kg to all 1RM
>200kg OHP

230lb fat benching 250 or 210 fat benching 475

Honestly I don't know

OP here,
100+ to each lift, ohp, bench, squat and dl. And scaling strength to accesoiries like curls

I'd take the muscle. I'd be my over my natty max

>300 OHP
>500 bench
>690 squat
>700 DL

Give me the lifts, senpai.

This, able to OHP literally any bodybuilder is insane

Adding 225lbs to all my lifts would mean I could do volume for fuckin days and get massive shortly after.

>375 ohp

Literally could post this on social media and be considered chad af forever or at the very least people would fear you

>300 OHP
I fucked up. 400 OHP

>there are people ITT that wouldn't want to be able to literally rip doors off of hinges
