Taking a warm shower and finishing with 5 minutes blasting all the way cold is the GOAT. Still get to relax as warm water washes over you, still opening pores and cleaning them, still feeling crisp and clean after the cold part, still getting all of the benefits of cold showers.

It relaxes your body, and stops it from making gains. Itll just make fat because its been soothed.
Your body needs to be under stress after a workout in order to make you go into muscle repair mode. Youve just been fucking your muscles up remember?

Not doing the following: >get home after workout >flex in the mirror until water gets warm >enter shower once water is warm, get whole body wet, enjoy comfy warmth >apply shampoo to whole body >turn water icecold to wash off shampoo and manly soldier through cold (it's not as tough as it sounds, you get used to it) >get all the benefits of both hot & cold shower
