Post your meal preps bros.
>inb4 /ck/ wouldn't know healthy food if it was pushed up their ass. Anyway, made this yesterday. It's sesame ginger broccoli beef for me and my wife, should last us three days.

Maybe /ck/ would be kinder if you actually cooked your fucking meat you fucking retard.
Chicken, broccoli, and a fried tortilla with some chopped chicken, shrimp, and shallots on the inside.
Obviously that pic was while it was cooking not the finished product you fucking mong. Do you see any broccoli in that pic?
Right now I'm working through Chicken (cook it with Thai garlic chili paste, should be in your supermarket next to sriracha) and Brussels sprouts. With rice
Gonna go shopping tonight probably, next things I'll be doing is homemade pizza and probably some salad fixings
I don't have a perfect meal prep setup, my schedule is too variant and it makes it really hard
I got no photos but here goes:
1 kg rump steak (cut into cubes)
2 red onions diced
3-5 garlic cloves minced
(?) olive oil
2 tbsp curry powder
2 tbsp rosemary
2 tbsp paprika
700ml (or whatever the bottle size is) tomato puree
3-5 tbsp tomato paste
2 cans of 400ml black beans (drained)
optional:
chilli flakes
ground chilli powder
chilli sauce
(For all the seasonings you can use as much or as little as you want, just taste as you go and add wherever)
Method:
Heat big pot until hot, then add olive oil (just enough to sort of cover the bottom) then add 1 of the diced red onions and all the garlic and stir till silghtly brown/translucent.
Add the 1kg of rump steak and then add all of your seasonings (rosemary/paprika/curry powder & the chilli seasonings if you want a nice heat kick) stir the the pot until the meat is brown.
Add all of the tomato puree and stir it in, then add the tomato PASTE maybe a few squirts (if its the squeezy bottle) or tbsps if its in a jar/container you don't need more than a few tbsps but just taste it as you go and see what works for you. Stir that for 5ish mins until its warm.
Add both of the cans of the black beans (drained of water) and the rest of the red onions (we add half the red onions later so that there's a crunch to it) stir that pot until everything is warm and the steak is cooked.
Then serve on rice.
Nutritional info/notes:
Now usually with those values and portions I gave you in the recipe it would usually equal in total about 2156 calories for the whole meal give or take. The weight is about 2467grams meaning that per 100grams of this meal it will be around 87calories per 100g. (I didn't really do the conversion between raw weight vs cooked weight but that only really applies to the steak which i believe is a minimal factor anyway, at WORST the calories should be around 100cal per 100g)
You can use other steaks if you want, but rump is cheapest for me and tastes good plus its low cals. enjoy
Sorry forgot to add:
Serve with rice or what I do is serve with eggs for more protein and flavour (egg omelete or scrambled)
Awesome proteins in this meal and the taste is just amazing and real filling. Awesome to just pack in containers for lunch at work/uni because you can make a fuckload and just eat it during the week
Almost sounds like a goulash (spelling?). Sounds bretty gud user may try that. This was my broccoli beef completed for this faggot
wow that looks delish! I am not too sure what goulash is haha, but could be im not too sure. I always thought of it as just a beef stew lol
Invest in better rice. Get yourself some medium grain as it has a better final texture when cooked right (that nice, sticky restaurant kind of rice). Also, why the lime slice for broccoli beef?
That's basically what goulash is: a hearty meat stew with a tomato/sweet pepper base
>bump
I've just been eating ground beef or chicken in a bowl with rice and or carrots with a bunch of kimchi 3x a day. Sometimes snacking on canned tuna, mackerel and cottage cheese. I wish there were meal prep websites that aren't annoying.
Thinking of making my own kimchi, I fucking love the stuff.
Also, guess I should contribute some meal stuff. Tonight I'm making my quick roast beef which I'll feed on for the next 2 days. Probably doing some potatoes tonight and then I like throwing the meat into other things over the next day. Think steak eggs benedict, beef gyro, repurposed into stir fry, etc.
>forgot pic
>tfw $3/lb this week
>why the lime slice
I dunno honestly bro I just use the fitmencook app and the nigga says garnish with lime lol. Actually adds a nice taste to it.
>meal prep websites
Like I just mentioned in my post a sec ago the fitmencook app is fucking legit.
Chicken and Rice
Cook chicken
Cook rice
>microwaving vegetables
My roommate once showed me a meal recipe called hamburger bean.
>Put a whole thing of ground beef into a pot, mix and heat on medium until browned
>Add in a can of beans to the pot.
>Wait a long time on low heat until the bean's out surfaces start cracking
>Drain out liquid (If you forget this step it will be gross)
>Add a lot of worchestersherp sauce, hot sauce, and ketchup to taste.
>Mix it around and let it go on low heat for just a bit longer
I make it pretty often. But I forget the liquid draining step a lot so it's often gross.
high protein but draining that meat liquid seems like a waste, cant you just drain the beans before putting them in?

enjoy boyos
Not other guy but ground beef has a shit load of water in it. Always drain the beans I would have thought, much similar to a easy quick chilli dish.
Bro have you ever cooked ground beef before? It’s not meat liquid, it’s fat/grease.
That said you can try cooking things with it (like vegetables and eggs) but it still tastes gross to me. Cooking oil and shitty olive oil are dirt cheap so not really worth the cost savings
just strain the juice out and then throw the beans in retard
slow down their son, you lost me
based
Chili is a good meal prep.
I also will make this kind of mush that’s pretty good. I eat it by itself but you could put it in a burrito too I guess. You just fry a bunch of frozen hash browns in a large pan, then when they’re almost done you crack a bunch of eggs, add some onions sauce and seasonings, and mix it all up while the eggs cook. Then you add some shredded cheese and it’s good to go. You can also cook the potatoes with onions or mushrooms.
fair point, i usually fry it in a wok or wide pan and cook off most of the water and i like the oils/fat/grease and shit.
i guess sometimes i pour off some of it to make gravy/some other sauce but i think it tastes good
>It’s not meat liquid, it’s fat/grease.
It's both. The fat renders into liquid as the meat cooks, but the grinding breaks down the muscle fibers of the meat which allows the water content of the meat to be released upon heating. Its the exact same reason why you slice against the grain of meat, even before cooking
Frozen hash browns are unhealthy as fuck. Why meal prep if you’re just going to eat trash anyway.
Found this recipe on fit few years back and it’s still my fave
did it taste overly fishy? what did you eat it with? whats the size of each patty?
I'm a really picky eater, poor as fuck, a terrible cook, and lazy. Here's my go to poverty meal
>1lb ground beef
>can of kidney beans
>1 cup of rice
>about 3/4 cup of shredded cheese
>chili seasoning packet thing
Cook the rice and the beef and mix it together. Portion it out into 1000 calorie servings. Regret buying ammo instead od cookbooks.
Bonus recipe
>buy frozen tortillini
>cook it
>put salt, pepper, margarine on it
>eat it
I should probably fix my life.
what size can of tuna?
How fucking stupid are you?
here's an idea shit for brains, stop eating meat
Make a quiche, that'll hold you over for a few lunches. Depending on your carbohydrate needs, include a pastry bottom or don't.
Very nice, thank you brother.
How much tuna do you use though?
that's shitty macros though, all carbs. At least you're Jow Forums
You aren't wrong. I get most of my protein from whey. And I take a vitamin so I don't die of malnutrition.
Where do you live bro?
Canada, why?
>inb4 leaf
I dunno, it felt weird that you were Jow Forums but had trouble with getting stuff to eat and said you should fix your life. What's wrong bro?
Eh, mostly just me being lazy and picky like I said. Money's a bit tight but not so tight I need to live off beans and rice. It's just stupid easy and retard proof to make. Thanks for looking out though fren.
I've never made one myself but quiche are badass. I need to try making one.
daily based hairdryer poster
Much easier than you think, probably. I just made one friday night. Here's a recipe:
for the dough:
mix 100g of some kind of wheat with equal parts oil and another liquid (water, broth, wine). The consistency should be like for bread, pretty solid.
Scale the 100g according to your casserole dish, just experiment around. It doesn't matter much if it is to thick or too thin the first few tries.
Roll the dough flat, put it in the dish and into the oven for 20 minutes at 160ºC.
For the topping:
the good news is, it doesn't really matter a whole lot. You can put in whatever your fridge or vegetable tray has to offer. I used a red onion, capers, anchovies, garlic, a red pepper and broccoli -- all fried in a pan the way you usually do.
In parallel, mix 4 to N eggs (again, depends on the volume you want to fill) with some herbs and a half a container of herb cheese spread. You can also use goat cheese or whatever you wish.
Get the pre-baked casserole dish out of the oven, fill it with the contents of the pan, fill it with the egg-cheese-herb mix.
Top everything off with a shredded cheese, put it in the oven at the same temperature until the cheese looks brown enough.
Let it cool for a couple of minutes, then cut and enjoy.
Post recipe and ingredients.
Meals like this last me a day max so I want to know how you’re stretching this into three days for two people.
How about you fry the meat and dont boil it so you don't have that liquid there?
How are onions and potato unhealthy?
it's on the stove, what do you think it's doing?
It's simple user, you just make a shit load. Download the fitmencook app. You can scale the recipes for how many servings you want to make. Literally couldn't be easier
This is that recipe
And here it is scaled to ten servings
Get a slow cooker, this could be your biggest friend for meal prep
In mighty US of A, pork or chicken is your most economical choice. Pick your cut of meat based on whatever macros you want to achieve, pork butt/shoulder or chicken thighs for extra fat, pork loin or chicken breasts for leaner options
Choose a method of seasoning i.e. Mexican, American, Asian, whatever
Turn that bad boy on low until the meat pulls and falls apart easily. Now that you have literal pounds of beautiful pulled meat to work with you decide the side dishes based on the meat and how it was seasoned. I like to make some fat fucking burritos and keep them in the freezer. When I go to work I'll just take one or two with me and microwave.
Meal prep with a slow cooker takes a longass time but there isn't much actual work to do, you make a shitload of food, and it's cheap as fuck
Example, I made 16 burritos a few weeks ago for less than $25
Thank you user, that Tinga is getting made for sure
What app/website is that?
I've named the app at least 4 fucking times itt already
S-sorry, I scrolled up now. Is it fitmencook?
Yes it is user
O-Ok, sorry.
Based. Slow cookers are a game changer. Cook pretty much anything in huge quantities. Just slow.
Yeah I got this app day 1. This nigger has been god-tier helping me w my meal preps...
Probably getting rich as fuk rn too.
still u call him a nigger
You're right. He is a good guy. It's just there was some shit at work today where a nigress assaulted one of my female coworkers for no reason so I'm a little fed up...
>Sue Lightning
>Discord
Forgot to mention that on top of the burritos I also had about 4lbs of leftover pulled pork on the side, shits cash
Don't worry about it
i make this too but my recipe is a little different
1 can tuna
1 egg
enough bread crumbs to maintain consistency
paprika
garlic powder
onion powder
papper
no salt because tuna already has enough
makes 3 patties
I usually serve with a slice of lemon and eat with ketchup
calories are low but protein is high
Damn, good Apu, I'mma save this one
someone post that brown skinned omelette god webm
Hey guys I currently live with my parents so I don't have to make my meals, but I'm moving out at the end of the summer. Any structures for cheap and healthy meals you guys know of? Does chicken offer the highest protien amount per dollar?
Swap the rice for macaroni and throw the raw macaroni in the chilli with 900ml chicken stock or just water and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes
Has he just gone vegan? I'm worried the app will take a turn for the worst now.
Holy shit that's a good idea. Based as fuck user.
Yes user, chicken is far and away the most valuable meat for your money. Turkey is also god tier, and fish as well but it's usually much more expensive.
>ctrl+f

>0/0
I am disappoint.
I refuse to believe someone is this stupid
I'm tired of seeing your stupid fucking dual monitors, your mediocre food, and that dumbass hairdryer. All you do is blogpost to different boards all day. Why even larp on Jow Forums as somebody who lives a health conscious lifestyle?
got any good liver dishes to share?
Brocolli isn't healthy tough
why
Just slowcookered some chicken thigh. What to mix it with?
>Brocolli isn't healthy
can't go wrong with a (whole, consumed) chicken and broccoli for lunch
Man this is a bad thread to be on while fasting
toilet trained at gunpoint
Quit crowding the pan jackass
This is the best shit. I eat them with brown jasmine rice and some sliced bell peppers.
