I've have actually been thinking about this and it's one of my fears. ALL my food supplies come from supermarkets. Just imagine if we have some food crisis( like we had economy crisis a while back) and meat goes away and this is going to be a new norm and the only "meat" sold in markets are affordable price.
What the fuck would a city boy like me do? I'm almost 100% dependent on the system

Rebranding this wouldn't be hard, you know. Labels "maggots" in the ingredients as "Alternative protein source 2B" (legal through arguing the definition of "maggot" so hard in various courts that it can't be enforced) and never mentioning them on the packet. The biggest indicator that this will probably never happen is that news outlets bothered reporting on it.

I tried insect burgers recently and they were alright. Health and nutrition wise bugs are pretty great and if you care about it it's also way better for the environment.
