How do you guys lift consistently? How do you prevent work, school, laziness, health, emotions, social shit from getting in the way of a workout for years on end?

Fun for me consists of trying to improve myself.

I make lifting one of the first things I do when I start my day.
If you put it off til later in the day, like after work, then you increase the likelihood of something else taking priority over it in that time slot.

its a hobby for me, and I've never had trouble with emotions stopping me from working out

By not having a life.

I just dont want to be the kind person who skips a workout because I'm tired or lazy.

its like 1 hour a weekday. not a huge commitment really.

I'm a NEET

i have a home gym

I'm neet

My choices are get swole and make it or suicide

You make lifting a (good) habit.

After 7 years and 60-65 lbs of lean mass added, I'm probably 'swole' by my former dyel standards even though I don't feel it. For me, suicide is still inevitable. Lifting fixes nothing user.

It will give me the confidence I need to make it
I feel great about myself even after cutting and getting some slight gains

Take preworkout for when I'm tired after school and work, don't have social life, not depressed/lazy POS, and don't do drugs. It is easy to fit in two hours

MAKE NO FUCKING EXCUSES
DO NOT TAKE A SINGLE DAY OFF SHORT OF A LEGITIMATELY MEDICAL CONDITION
If you must make excuses, go five times a week and make sure you at least lift for three of them, taking a single day off you weren't planning on ahead of time is distrastrous as it both sets a precedent that skipping is okay and you'll get stuck in a loop of "okay I'll do it tomorrow" for a week or so then just drop it outright

Working out isn't a duty. It's something that helps you live a better longer more fulfilling life.

If it gets in the way of living your life to the fullest and gives you no benefit to workout on that day, then don't fucking do it.

Just see it as a necessary thing that you can do or not do if you want.

It's ether hitting the gym 4 times a week or staying at home alone with my own thoughts and necking my self. I just need friends anons I lost the remaining ones and it's just work, home, gym. Gym is the only thing holding back those thoughts

pretty simple, i enjoy lifting so its a priority of my day. You make time for the things that are important to you, if those things are getting in the way of lifting then clearly it isn't that important to you.
