>general knowledge quiz because it's the last day of the year before Christmas break and no teacher or student wants to teach or learn fucking anything
>going through the answers at the end, everyone shouting out as the teacher goes through the questions while we're marking quiz papers
>decide to join in for the next question, was sure I had the right answer
>i'm the only kid in the fucking room who got it wrong
>teacher: "Wrong, everyone point and laugh at user"
>the class erupts into laughter, including friends and /oneitis/ at the time

That was almost 8 years ago and I still have trouble speaking in/with groups or on dates.

If you were to look back I'm sure that would have been one of the 'initial incidents'

Honest to god question, should high school be eradicated? Think about it. All those classes, assignments, lessons...We forgot like 90% of it. The remaining 10% we remember because we use it in our daily lives, be it at home or work. Could be math, language, basics like that. We remember what we're interested in. What if this system was replaced by something more specific, something that allowed us to be more competent in a shorter amount of time? A more direct approach to the end goal, if you will, without years of slow and systematic lobotomy.

No it shouldnt. We should just try harder to get better teachers. Teachers are barely educated and stupid most of the time. Roasties should never be teachers they always have it out for men and treat the girls better.

Well, I thought that was a given. "Those who can, do, those who can't, teach" is the most despicable statement I can think of, and of course it's an American thing. How you could possibly undervalue good teachers like that is beyond me.

The best teacher I ever had was this female Asian teacher for maths brought my grade up from a D to an A*, made me realise I'm actually decent at maths.

I was so close to actually speaking up even though I never open my mouth. Seriously pisses me off when someone claims the to know better and didn't even know what they're talking about. It's not even up for debate, mkultra existed, it's declassified. Should have dropped the redpill, but everyone would have just assumed I was a nut probably.

It's the same shit as before the nsa leaks, before that everyone was like "you're paranoid if you think the government is monitoring everyone" and then after suddenly everyone turns to "well no duh they have information on us"

to some extend. but not really, that particular teacher wasnt a selfloathing pessimist and just hated my mom for being ever so slightly more popular and while my mom grew out of petty bitchery that teacher however never did.

at this point I am told to leave which sucked because my parents were busy and had planned on me being in class for the 4 hours. I had to wait 2.5 hours in the lobby for extraction. class and teacher came out during break between classes and saw me sitting there but didn't say anything while giving odd glances which made me embarrassed for some reason. had the teacher again for other classes but didn't have any issues
