You guys act like protein powder is some sort of weird, bullshit supplement instead of just looking at it for what it is. Its fucking highly filtered, powdered milk that tastes good. If you can get 200g+ protein from your whole foods, good on you, but im cutting at 2200 cals, and theres nothing as clean, cheap and good tasting as protein to help me hit macros while on my deficit.

Im not that poster, but im going to tell you guys that anecdotally, increasing my protein has made a huge difference in my muscle mass.
I know this because i track my progress on the inbody scanner at my gym, and 2 scoops post workout has been basically been the only thing thats changed in my diet. Body fat percentage keeps dropping, and skeletal muscle keeps increasing. i think im actually gonna start shooting for 250g
