Op from other thread here. I haven't sung in swedish in any thread since I can't speak swedish. Thatnks for the compliment. I know the ukulele is like the most boring normie instrument but my sister happened to lend it to me and I taught myself to play a cluple of chords on it.
If you don't mind and since my singing wasn't terrible I'll post some more of myself singing hymns in finnish.

Here's another hymn. I was in music school for drums but since I did the theory I can play some very basic piano stuff. I'm not a creative person so I don't make anything original, just sing some songs I like when nobody is listening.
Accidentaly posted the same vocaroo
This is probably my favourite hymn in the hymnal I use.
Are you originally German?
vocaroo.com
Yeah I could probably do that. I'm always too scared that the finished thing will be really bad but I guess that doesn't really matter. If I practice enough I will probably get better anyways and I'd just be doing it for myself. Your accen't isn't bad at all. It's there but you are very clear and inteligible
My voice is a bit shaky but I couldn't sing too loud since i recorded this just like an hour ago and I didn't want to bother anyone by being loud.
You can sing something yourself if you want to.
Another one

And yeah, no worries about the music. It's going alright and I'm decently happy with it. Will probably start a serious project once I got my latest piece of gear and learned to work with it.
Yeah I also think it's better to be positive and nice than to be annoying for the memes. Everything has its time.

I've fucked my voice so can't join in on the singing, so have this
I am mentally handicapped.

I fucked up the end because I forgot how it goes

Tanks (issa muted trumpet)
Kind of blue is a good album, as Borat would say, veddy nice (as far as classical goes, I prefer Bach and Chopin)

I was already ahead of you my man. I don't really know a great deal else, I play some guitar too. I don't know a lot of jazz songs.

I was 10 and it had 3 buttons and looked cool as hell
5/5 wii theme and best reason to take up trumpet I've heard to date
Can't say I do. I think that growing up with music makes you smarter, having something to play and learn while growing up is definitely good, our house always had at least 3 guitars in it growing up, I think if I ever have kids (hah, if I can somehow manage to get a wife), I'd want to have a piano for them to play and practice on, having an appreciation for classical music is good but it can also isolate you in a lot of ways if you don't listen to modern music too.
True, the main reason I can play the piano at all is because we always had one at home so you kind op pick it up as you go. I try to be versatile with the music I listen to. From classical to country to jazz and to mumble rap.

My favourite organ piece by bach
i like your guitar shit album on sound cloud. makes me want to learn the instrument
I think music gives you a tacit understanding of maths, since there are a lot of patterns and sequences in music, in a way it's a method of practicing your pattern generating and recognition skills. Most music thats enjoyable has repetition of some sort, the more complicated the music is, the more subtle and nuanced that repetition is. The best music, in my opinion, has repetition without being repetitive. It gives humans a pattern to recognise and be comfortable with, but it builds and adds and contorts that pattern in all sorts of ways.
That's how I learned guitar. I only recently bothered to learn actual songs on it, for the most part I just doodled around on it until eventually I just got dexterity and coordination in my fingers. Here's a section of a Bach piece, I can't play the full prelude just yet, I could barely get out this section, you can hear I made a few mistakes. I like having a guitar, and I want to become better at guitar because it's like I have full control over the aux cord. I'd like to be good at piano, I know all about chords and scales, with a lot of other theory, but I just don't have the right technique, and my sight reading skills for piano are horrible (Im still so slow at reading bass clef and anything one or two ledger lines out of the main staff)
i do have a guitar now but no amp. i think an amp will make it sound much more epic :P
For some reason the introduction is reminding me of "where I end and you begin" by Radiohead. I love it though. Good piece, thanks.
Oh yeah, I definitely care more about the atmosphere and the general mood of a piece, i just think that there are smart ways to build atmosphere and there are boring ways. The specific mood isn't too relevant as long as it feels real. A lot of jazz does come off as soulless wankery, credit where it's due, the musicians are brilliant, far better than I could ever hope to be, but they have no soul or passion.
You should check out snarky puppy they are a jazz fusion band and I feel like they put their soild into the music. I love this record, especially the last song.
Here is me singing again, i messed up a couple times and theres no music.
Well the song is fairly famous. The girl from ipanema is the name. This is what i had in my headphones as I sang.
vocaroo.com
The language is portuguese and the guy is joao gilberto. He was a brasilian musicial who was very famous in brasil in the 60's.

I will probably going to sleep soon because its quite late
First and only bump I'll do. If nothing happens I suppose it might be time for me to sleep after all.
vocaroo.com
yeah i have posted in creative threads before. thank you
Fuck it, another bump it is. At this point sleeping doesn't make much sense anyway.
vocaroo.com
no i don't really have a goal, i just play for myself and it's interesting to get feedback from people to get out of the echo chamber of my mind from time to time lol
Guess I might as well bump this once in a while if I'm staying up.
vocaroo.com
Good morning! This is the user who went to sleep. I'm surprized you actually kept the thread up. I just woke up so my voice is unusable but here is me playing piano.

Another one without singing
Sorry man no luck girls have been on this thread. Very few posters and all that
Another voiceless one. I will probably start warming up my voice now so I could sing a bit.
Not original, everything I've played has been from a finnish hymnal. Don't mind the noise in the backround here. Just my family discussing something.
