I won't say what I worked as, but part of the job is that you needed to strike up conversations with guests, and that you needed to 'keep the atmosphere' by chatting around with your colleagues. Its not as if I cant talk to people or anything, its just that i cant do that on top of handling 9 million other things at once (cleaning tables, dishes)
Hoping to maybe calm down tomorrow, and actually continue with my normal routine of only making them during the evening :)
This. It was awkward when I went with my family to visit my extended family and one of the wives a family member said "if you stayed here we'd have you married now", my ma jumped in saying that I'm just waiting until I have a solid career since I left my last line of work until I settle down.
In all reality, it's my biggest living regret that I'm not married with a few kids of my own by now.

You won't be impressu user-san. To put thins in perspective, I live off of beans and dry food stores. I eat pancakes without syrup when I'm at home.
I haven't even started the first day of my new job yet but I'm already dreading going in on Monday.
I know I posted about Deerhunter in this thread earlier this week and I don't want to spam them but I've been playing Nocturne non-stop. It's so fucking good. I'm seeing them at a music festival with my dad, step-mom and sister in May so that's something to look forward to.

i enjoy reading most things except from biographies and romantic books, but i really love books where the author is overly descriptive about small insignificant details and kind of breaks the narration up alot with the descriptions. do you enjoy reading user? if so what type of books?

well I haven't read a book in a long time desu, but I enjoy sci-fi the most desu, Asimov in particular
i remember trying to read some of his works but i never knew what to start with because he just wrote so many books, do you have a personal favourite?
let's say the are all my favourites
if I had to say one in particular I'd say The Caves Of Steel
which is also a good starting point if you plan to read asimov books because it's the first of a series, the robot serie

so if you're into murder and policemen and also like sci-fi and robots it's really awesome
it also works as the basic book from where everything then springs, that's why I love it so much
You should read Gormenghast & Titus Groans. Lot of in depth descriptions of rooms in a castle. Sort of dream like fantasy.

Im Doing fine. kinda been playing minecraft with some friends (iknowiknow im a fag) but its very fun with the socialization. im sober and everything, sometimes wish i wasnt but here i am. Very Comfy

i'm not sure if you would want to mention your age user but what is making you feel out of place? in my school experience most people were self absorbed and only gave time to other when mocking so i'm sure it isn't something to worry about.

i do remember something about you, i was drunk though, so i dont remember everything,
my day? i missed a train to my course and was panicing since it was my only chance, luckily next train went an hour later and i had 2 and a half to get there, after an hour long train ride i had 20 minutes, called in taxify and got there in time, regardless of the shitty morning the course is great, 8 people, small group, me my friend and 6 girls, feels kinda awkward but theyre all easy to talk to, teacher is really laid back, she saw me chatting on a /comfy/ thread and couldnt give a single shit, and this is the third thread going, so im doing absolutely fantastic :)

libraries are a must, or at least a study, a place to reflect.
Oh i mean id entirely like to have children, but i wont impregnate a women i wouldnt want raising my children. Im not bad with women anymore, but the pool of respectable women is shallow.

Well, that's the twist. She plays with me on that concert. We're playing in an orchestra. That's where we met each other. But we can't really do like we're together. I didn't want the whole orchestra to know.

Neh, it's just rather annoying people knowing it.
And we're an orchestra of a music school so teachers also play there. And it's kinda embarassing having teachers know your relations and stuff. It's just kind of annoying if they would know.

I play the saxophone (tenor to be exact) and it's rather fun. And I honestly don't like playing there so much or ever liked it.
