We are humans and not just animals: we have a consciousness. This means we actually have control over our decisions and not just instincts. Since we can think we are also aware of our vulnerability and the inavoidable death. To put it in a nutshell, you have to give meaning to your life (if you seek meaning) because it's not going to show up by itself, you have to try a LOT of different stuff until you think "Wow, I want to dedicate my life to this".

For me it's works of arts. My objective is to make as much money as possible to acquire as much art pieces as possible and then open a small art exhibit museum-thing or donate everything to my town's museum when I die, I don't know yet.

There is nothing set in stone. The meaning of life is to create meaning.

thank you, I got that hobby in highschool. Back then I had no friends (still no friend tho lol) so I spent all my free time in museums. Since I'm lucky to live in Paris I had a LOT of material to work with. My favourite museums were the Guimet museum and the Cernuschi museum. Art helped me get a more open minded view on the world through multiple interpretations from multiple countries. I think its the greatest thing ever to see a 5000 BC handcrafted figuring representing a thicc woman: we are all the same, regardless the country we come from, the period we live in, who we are, art is one thing that brings us together, it goes beyond war, politics or all these futile things and focuses on what truly matters: our condition as humans.
