should i lift weights if i want to get into the military?
Military anons pls help
Uhhhh
No. You're perfect just the way you are baby ;)
i'm male
Why do you even own a thong bro? Girldfriend's?
Just learn how to run fast and do many pushups in military style.
They'll love you in the marines.
What? Oh.
Theres some national guard calculator for the minimum you should be able to do at certain weights and heights to join
i want to go into the army
yes, the best injury prevention for all the cancer you deal with in the military is a strong musculature, running should be prio 1 tho so don't neglect it to lift weights
If you're just looking to get in and be mediocre you'd be fine just running and doing bodyweight exercises. If you're looking to go SOF lifting wont hurt. Minimum fitness standards for all branches embarrassingly low so you don't need to worry unless youre a fat fuck that cant run or a twig that cant do a pushup.
I’m a lanklet extreme, how should I proceed with pushups?
All the better ;)
Do a ton of pushups. Find out your max by doing pushups until you reach muscle failure, then throughout the day do several sets at 80% of your max. If you can do 42 pushups in a 2 minute period you'll be good.
Just do like 100 pushups and situps a day. Doesn't have to be all at once but you have to keep at it. Granted you won't be able to break any records this way, but you'd be able to hit the minimums. Make sure you hit 90 degrees on the pushups too
>Run a lot.
>Pushups.
>Pull-ups.
>Sit-ups/crunches.
Literally it.
Literally don’t be fat and be able to meet the minimum for 2 mile, push ups, and sit ups. Army is changing its fitness test within the next two years though, but that one should be even easier to get by
You can buy them from the internet haha
focus on marching lots of km with tons of weight
Run, pushups, walk with heavy stuff for long distances. Train your brain to have a "won't stop attitude" during bc.
