Constant intake of BCAA's causes the body to want to complete them, which it does by breaking down your muscle, putting you in a catabolic state. That's why you almost always have to combine different non-animal sources of protein. There are some exceptions, some non-animal sources are complete proteins: ꜱoy and onions are the two most common.
