>I dont want to break my neck
Then don't do them upside down. Fucking retard.

Just don't be a retard - don't swing on it and you'll be fine, I've had mine for a while and zero problems. Make sure the integrity of your doorframe is good though, if its old and rotting you might tear it down

Hasn't really failed me yet. Just don't jump onto it or kip and you should be fine.

Make sure your door trim and frame are stable. Make sure you have enough headroom to do a chin up where you're going to install it. Make sure you have enough horizontal clearance to the sides of the door frame for the crossbar. Don't do anything stupid that will cause the bar to move while you're doing your chin ups. And even if it does somehow come crashing down, you're not going to fall very far.

I live in a new apartment and the door frame is too fucking wide for mine. Makes me angry

> weirdo in my class brings this in uni
> doesn't set it properly
> makes one rep or two and falls to the ground
> hurts his head a bit
> all class laughs
Don't bring it in class bro

Go to a gym then fag.

they kinda leave big marks on your doorframe, but whatever.

I'm in a similar situation to you user. I'm currently living in a caravan and the doorframes are all too small

You only have one door ?
You live in the Shire ?

I wrapped the parts that press against the side of the frame with some socks. No more marks after that

>live in the Shire
Not him but..
I wish.

Based.

>I'm currently living in a caravan
Are you a gypsy?

They're good. Mine broke eventually, but after a few years and literally thousands of reps. I'm a manlet and I was still close enough to the ground that I was totally fine. I replaced it for like 20 bucks and got the exact same one. It's a great deal.

I've been using one at 180lb for a year or so and i'm fine, the only problem is it was a little to big for my door.

They're extremely dangerous, you might die. As a matter of fact you should probably never leave your house again just to be safe.

Why did he bring it though?

Probably thought he was gonna bust out 50 pull ups and impress everyone.

I used kitchen shelf liner from the dollar store, works great, no marks and provides some grip.

Yeah I just used cardboard. Even if you use foam or whatever just take it down if your landlord ever needs to come over or he's gonna be pissed

meme
broke my brother's doorframe

Used one for years, 15 sets a week. Never had an accident.

Your brother is either a fatass, has a shitty doorframe, or both.

He was semi-autistic, kept running everywhere. At some point he started doing push-ups in the corridors etc... he was definitely /ourguy/

Same reason there is always the one kid on campus riding a unicycle.....or the one kid with a ukulele singing shitty songs....

Warming up before the exam.

shit made my friend snapped his spine and now he has screws in em
