How many days can you go without lifting before you lose gains?

like 3-4 weeks

Anywhere from 1 to two days. Heavily dependant on genetics and diet though. With bad genetics and diets you can expect to lose ten pounds of lean mass in roughly a week. Hope this helps

about 2-3 days.
Lost gains over a weekend of drinking. Never again

If you make gains fast will you lose them fast or no?

It takes a while to actually lose LBM. What most people think is losing gains is actually just losing your pump.

0, rest days are gains goblins

There are a lot of variables and different opinions. It's hard to say, but as long as you're not super low body fat you shouldn't lose too much.

I've found that I lose strength way faster than mass
Strength, 2 weeks
Mass, 4 weeks
make sure to eat high protein and at maintenance, you'll be fine

Most people here do it for aesthetics so I guess 4 weeks it is

Depends on fat and protein metabolism but this average time lapse is correct.

I guess that's fair
although I don't think anybody should abstain from exercising for that long without a legitimate reason, like an injury

I have to take some time off because I'm getting horrible exertion headaches when I lift now and I heard the only to get rid of it is to wait

More like scary demon 69 lmaoooo

I think you should see a doctor mate

I've heard it takes 3 days of inactivity for muscle atrophy to set in.

I did and they said as much
It's not life threatening or anything

About 3 weeks or so

Literally hours

That counts as an injury. Rest

I mean yeah if you're completely immobile for 3 days, most people move their body around

12h

A year

I went to asia and lost 13 lbs. I was gone 3 weeks and didn't work out. I'd say 2 lbs were fat, a lot was water and a bit was actual muscle. My body immediately popped upon restarting.

On average it's about 3-4 weeks. If you HAVE to take a break, I suggest working out at least once every body part every two weeks at most

Muscles start to diminish after 96 hours of no resistance.

Depends on what you mean by gains

Your ability to lift something is not just a muscular adaption but a neurological one too. If you train at a lower rep range with higher weight, you will lose strength faster because the adaption is more neurological, although this shouldn't be interpreted as 'higher reps makes for better strength gains'. If you're referring to size, this depends on how active you are. If you don't bench, but continue working other muscles, say, doing squats and deadlifts during the time you're not benching, you'll lose both size and strength slower because of the systemic anabolic effect of weightlifting and hgh release. This is why if you're injured you should still be lifting.

I'm going on a 1 week all inclusive vacation next week.

Booked because I really need a fucking break in my life.

How fucked will my gains be if I drink and eat however much I want for a week? I'm not a fatass btw.

I took a month off of lifting and lost 20 pounds on my dumbell press. But then it came back in like two weeks.

6 hours

Wait...you're not going to lift? NGMI

Actually, I read here on Jow Forums I think that you lose muscle at about half the rate you gained it. So if it took you a month to build a pound of muscle, it'll take about 2 months of no work at all to lose that pound.

then keep lifting pussy

Don't eat to obese levels and make sure to keep up your protein.

But go have fun

For me, i have to go days without lifting to actually recover fully so every 3-4 months, i have a week of doing minimum physical activity(i still go on walks and stretch in the morning and afternoon).
I remmember losing gains after a week and a half, but feeling so refreshed that i got them back in no time
