It's almost impossible for protein to get converted to fat. Overages are either used as energy inefficiently or converted to glucose. The only real way is if you eat a surplus of literally nothing but protein, but you'll die of protein poisoning from the severe lack of fat in your diet before you could even notice any fat gain.

In general your body can only process so much energy at once.

A 10000 calorie food challenge that takes place over 30 minutes is much less harmful to your body than consuming 10000 calories over the course of a day because your insulin is spiked/ vs constantly high
