Full body training or split to get that good old strongman strength ?
!!!WARNING OPINION DOWN BELOW!!!
Many strongman focused on full body strenght trainning but only going 60%-80% so that they could do it everyday and not consume all of their energy, slowly but surely gaining strenght in the entire body much more effective rather then split workouts
Both. >tuesday: chest, back, calves >thrusday: legs, shoulders >saturday: back and biceps >sunday: chest and triceps

Sounds like Pavel's Simple & Sinister program. From what I've seen he's the most prominent shill of never going 100% and going at it everyday. I wonder if he has a barbell program.

Basically all sensible strength programs have you lifting at 60-80% of your 1RM, limiting anything above that to a couple of weeks close to when you have your meet/competition/whatever. So what are you even asking here?

Consider this: they were lying. Not saying they weren't strong, but there is literally no way to verify their feats
