When did you realize that you are actually not in a good shape, even though you've been lifting for years? For me it was when I went to the military

>in the military
>have to march for hours with 30kg gear on, carry +50kg sacks in our hands etc
>think I'm totally going to kick ass in these since I squat 150kg, dl 180kg etc
>totally suck at everything, have to take a break every 10 steps, completely exhausted all the time
>meanwhile there are some average skinny/skinnyfat guys who have no problems with any of these activities

I got into rucking a few months ago and dont really run into any problems.
i also cant squat for shit.
just lose weight fatty

Infantry checking in.
1/2/2/3 30pullups 10muscleups

Well if you dont train endurance youll be shit at it
But you will adapt quicker than an untrained person, and then you have more potential than skellingtons in the long run

Going into ranger school its a bajillion times better to be 10kg overweight than it is to be 10kg underweight believe me

Yeah on one of our field exercises I think I easily lost 7kg in a week and felt drained. Shudder to think how those skellies felt.

200km 42 dayumn
100km in 20 without military gear since I'm a civilian
Fucking impressive

Do you do gonad enhancing drugs? Test etc?

when i almost pass out and run out of breath getting out of bed

>think I'm totally going to kick ass in these since I squat 150kg, dl 180kg etc
>do no cardio and believe your lifts matter in the real world
>eat shit

who would have guessed that barbell strength is less useful than endurance

Bad form squats, you're still dyel and you're fat. Do cardio dumb ass.

>Don't be a massive fucking retard like the OP that discarded Cardio
>Run 25-30km a week, do cross country
>Can still squat 185kg, and DL 230kg.
>Served 4 years in the military, found basic training the easiest since i came from a background of sports, and more sports.

This is what I'm thinking, OP was probably a fat load of shit as well and probably 100 pounds overweight. Even when i was 230lbs at 6ft, i was still able to run 2km's without a hassle and never "had to take a break after 10 steps".

what a retard.

rock climbing. I was running 8miles twice weekly, had a physical job and lifted 4x a week. Tried to climb a wall and it was exhausting. My upper body was used to sets of 8 reps. Lifting my ass up a 25m wall broke me

I'm 5'9 170lbs and ive been doing cardio every week for like 2 years

>I'm 5'9 170lbs and ive been doing cardio every week for like 2 years

Your story doesen't add up, you massive lying faggot.

Please elaborate how my "story" doesn't "add up" faggot

Your supposed to use you legs mate.

> been doing cardio every week for 2 years
> cant even walk with 30kg on

Walking a mile to the shops once a week isnt cardio.

>btw how did you guys know that I powerlift?
