None. You have to assess how much time it takes for your body to break.
Your body's just not used to it yet, try to lift through the pain for a couple of weeks and one rest day between each workout will be enough

I recommend taking enough rest days for soreness to dissipate, such that tendons and muscles are fully recovered (connective tissue takes longer than muscles). I advise against lifting with any sort of acutely painful tendon. When a tendon is newly painful, this indicates reactive tendinopathy, i.e. acute tendon damage currently being repaired. When further loads are put on the tendon while in reactive tendinopathy, parts of the tendon may enter a dysrepair state as the damage load exceeds the capacity for repair which then leads to permanent damage (chronic tendinopathy). This is analogous to permanent scarring on skin. Recovery times will improve over time with additional training. Also recovery times are subject to genetic variation so just because a given volume works for one person does not mean it will work for another.

If your tendon hurts then you overdid it. Gotta reduce volume on the exercise that caused pain and start including more connective tissue work for your biceps.
Basically this means you just get a light exercise band and do curls very fast for 2 sets of 50.
Ever since I started doing this with curls & tricep extensions twice a week I have had zero tendon problems.

that's completely normal if you are just starting (or changing workout plan after long time). Everything muscle is going to hurt for first 1-2 weeks. Stop being faggot and go to the gym if you ever wanna make it.
If it's tendon pain rest it until it stops hurting and then rest the same amount of time again. For example, it stops hurting after two weeks so you rest for an additional two weeks. Once it stops hurting you can do very low intensity active rehab.
both times ive started lifting i take 2 days off at the start [if i start monday, i go in thursday] because the doms are beyond excruciating from years of being sedentary
What do you mean don't use mixed grip? Everywhere I look everyone uses it. I also can't lift more than 3pl8 with double overhand, especially if I go for a lot of reps.

I’m coming off a scaphoid surgery so I give myself an ample 2-3 days after hard workouts. A hard workout for me is 2-10lb weights LOL because of the muscle atrophy from the last few months. Some days I have to wait even longer. When I was healthy I could go every day. It’s very taxing on my mind now. That might be what is actually resting, the mind and various networks throughout the body

If your TENDON hurts, then you don't do shit with it for a week. DOMS are one thing, but if the pain is sharp and prevents you from using your muscle, YOU STOP.
This isn't pain you want to upset.
Normal doms is fine, you could work out every day if you really want to, and are a beginner, but otherwise just take a rest day between each work out. Give your body time to repair.
