Best way to eat rice

So the only thing I have at my house is rice. Literally just rice and some spices and condiments. I'll have no money until late this week/ next week. What is the best way to eat rice that isn't just eating it bland. Thanks boys

just how long exactly

do you want precise advice or not

Add a bit of curcuma to the boiling water and cook the rice as usual, the taste is great
You can also cook it and add sesame to it or even add olive oil to it

made risotto for the first time the other day. Takes like 30 min of pretty active but simple cooking, but it is so fucking good. Generally pretty healthy as well. You only have to use a little bit of oil or butter, and you can go with unsalted broth to better control sodium. Not an everyday thing, but great way to get some good carbs.

Get yourself some tomatoes and carrots (less than 3 bucks), put them in a pan with a little bit of oil or butter, get them cookin well, throw the rice, throw the condiments and enjoy.

Additionally, buy some red tomato sauce (cheap af too) and drop some in there too.

In the very least get some beans to go with the rice.

add peas and mix, maybe spoon of onions sauce
ur done

rice with bread and water, food for champions.

>eggs over easy on top
>tfw the yolk drips over the rice
God tier

this, but it takes a lot of time and it's not something I'd do for eating alone.

Basmati rice is good, but also requires some kind of attention. What I do after the gym and want carbs is take white rice (any kind will do, but I tend to prefer the puffier kind, like the one used in risotto or paella) and just boil it with some salt. Then add whatever protons I have atm (tuna, eggs, leftover meat) and some chopped vegs. Season with olive oil, pepper and some paprika.

extremely easy and good post-workout meal.

Cook it in bone broth/chicken stock. Buy the good kind or make your own. 1/2 broth 1/2 water with a dash of salt, top quality rice every time.

Guy with asian gf here. I've been pretty red pilled on rice.

First, get the good kind. Golden Camel brand should be found at your local asian food store and will be much cheaper pound for pound and taste much better than whatever you pick up at a conventional super market. My girl and I eat rice pretty much every day and our bag we bought months ago for 20 bucks is still over half full.

Second, use a rice cooker. Boiling water works in a pot as well but a rice cooker will turn out perfect every time, amazing investment for not much money. Two cups of water per cup of rice. No salt necessary, add later if you wish.

Next, flavorings. If you do all of the above, just plain rice, no salt or pepper, taste heavenly. But if you want some variety, you can chopping up some garlic and stirring it in with some tumeric powder. At the asian store you can also buy the thick, sweet onions sauce just for a little added flavor, god tier with a little over easy eggs mixed into your rice with siracha.

Eat rice with lentils or black beans

I like mixing brown rice with 2 spoons of peanut butter, 2 spoons of flaxseeds, lots of cinnamon on top, and a cut bannana. You can also use milk and egg instead of water in your rice cooker with white rice to make very sweet rice pudding.
