Because you realize once joining Greek life that there are alpha frats and beta frats same as everywhere else. The alpha frats are the ones that have all studs who attract the highest tier of sorority girl and there are usually only a couple of these. Most frats are full of guys with pretty shitty social skills/ugly/DYEL so they thrown open parties where ugly-average girls show up. Upon joining a beta frat you will have a couple guys (like myself) who start neurotically lifting to makeup for lesser social status (still above GDIs)

Some colleges, the top tier frats have mostly average looking or ugly guys but they have a shit ton of cash/parents donate to the school so they get sorority poon. Still, D1 student atheletes probably get more pussy than the frat boys
