inexperienced dyel here, 6 months in and ive gained about 5 kgs, which im really happy about but my gym friends say that first year of lifting, with my body type, endomorphic, im expected to gain upwards to 20 kg in my first year of lifting, so going from 50 kg to 70 kg in one year.

is that really what I should be expecting? cus them im probably only gonna make it half way of expected gains.. what am I doing wrong then?

any experienced lifters that can shed some light?

Nah man 1 year of dyel training you can expect maybe 1kg a month of muscle mass. You gain 20 kg in a year natty and at least a quarter of thats gonna be fat. That's probably for someone who is lean at around 70gk anyway, manlets are not gonna gain 10kg a year let alone 20kg

If you want better chances with girls: like other people said, get a short haircut and stubble instead of pube-beard. you also look better without the glasses

Shave that disgusting beard or keep it trimmed down. Get new glasses. You actually have an ok jawline and when you fill out it will look great. You are light enough and lean enough to do a pretty good bulk at minimum +500kcal. Best advice I can give:
>do GSLP until the LP stop working then switch to 531 BBB then do a PPL
>track calories, you eat less than you think
>drink more calories if you keep coming up short. I am 6'3, 200lbs. My TDEE is fucking 3100, shit sucks.
>Do not skip the big 4
>Get more sleep and drink less booze

Obviously if you want to gain weight faster, you'll need to eat more, that said, as long as you're actively gaining weight there's no need to be impatient.
Your facial hair isn't thick enough to grow a beard that doesn't look like absolute shit yet, very strongly recommend sticking to stubble for a couple of years. I'd also recommend being outside in the sun a bit more without a shirt on, your torso looks deathly pale. I think you should stop shaving your chest too, but peoples preferences differ.

iktf man, if you are already sleeping properly (before midnight, 6-9 hours per day) Try cutting out wheat entirely. Just eat white rice, potatoes(normal and sweet) and fruit/juice for carbs. I never slept well - turns out it's inflammation of my GI tract, caused primarily from wheat, that was causing my body to not get the rest I needed. Massive improvement in the bags under my eyes since changing my diet.
