Started shaving my head two years ago. Looked alright but I was a bit tubby at the time so I didn't get the Jow Forums bonus that works with a bald head. About two months ago I was too lazy to shave for a couple of weeks and notice my hair coming in much thicker than when I shaved it. Don't listen to anybody telling you to shave it. Try finasteride and biotin and see how you do on it for six months. If you get any sides wait about a week or two and they usually go away. If they don't then stop the fin but continue the biotin. Finasteride doesn't cause permanent side effects so no worries. Also wash with a ketoconazole shampoo every 3 or 4 days.
