I have shit strength and I feel ashamed for the meagre weight I can barely lift at gym.

I want to gain just a bit of strength before going to the gym

I'm so pathetic I can barely lift a barbell with 6kgs on for 3 sets of 15

Would a set of dumbbells be enough for strength gaining at home for a 3 or 4 months?

I really hate going to the gym because of this and would like to avoid it if this was possible

just get a homegym and lift whatever you want

Yes you can do floor presses, rows, squats, extensions, curls, shoulder raises etc. You can build a decent strength base this way. However even bodyweight can give some gains to a newcomer

I'm in thirddworld and don't have required $$$ nor craft skills
Nice, I'll try it then

SS + GOMAD

Nobody at the gym is watching you lift. Stop being so arrogant, everyone else is too busy with their own lifts to care how much you lift. And there's no shame in being weak, only in staying weak. So get your ass to the gym, you will get stronger much faster in a gym than working with just a pair of dumbbells.

Oi, slav mate.

Nah

It has nothing to do with being arrogant I straight up admitted i was pathetic

Rome wasn't built in a day. Just keep going and eventually you'll find out you can do more and more.

>Would a set of dumbbells be enough for strength gaining at home for a 3 or 4 months?
Strength training requires progressive loading. If you have enough dumbbells to do that for 3-4 months then you can get stronger with dumbbells, but I can't imagine that being a cheap option.

In reality you can squat enough for this not to be an issue. You'll go up 5-10 kg on squats the first 1-3 sessions and 2.5 kg per session after that. You'll go up 10-15 kg on deadlifts the first session or two and 5 kg per session the next few sessions. The first session you start off with an empty bar anyway. Don't ego lift, get your form in order and slowly progress in load until your form breaks down.

Don't do sets of 15, follow SS and you'll improve so much in 1 month you'll laugh at the idea of having wasted that month using the same load on a pair of dumbbells at home. You can find the book on libgen, and plenty of videos on youtube.

There's nothing wrong with being weak. You're at the gym to get stronger, right? Its like seeing the fat guy who sticks to his routine at the gym, and goes consistently, no one can think he's pathetic while he's shedding off those pounds. No one can think you're pathetic if everytime you're at the gym you're getting stronger (either by increasing reps or weight). Everyone has to start somewhere OP, and no one cares about what other people do in the gym, people irl don't think like people in Jow Forums.

Go to the gym bro. Nobody cares how weak you are. Also heavy compounds are the best way to get stronger. Barbell bench, squat, OHP, curls.

Drop your ego and just go there and lift what you can. Do sets of five reps with a good program, eat enough food and soon you'll be lifting double what you can now.

thank you for these replies friends
I have very shit mobility also and can barely squat and deadlift. I need to work on that, but I think it is more important for me to grow the habit of actually going to the gym regularly. I ended up going today and took my time and did well. I liked how it went

You should curl in your squat rack for maximum gains.

like I said before it has nothing to do with ego. I admitted in the OP that it is/I am pathetic

>I am pathetic
>I
>am
>Not ego
Stop with the I:s and am:s and just focus on lifting.

I know SS and I tried it before on my own. I had a bad time because my form is too bad and my mobility is worse, and I'd rather do easier stuff even if it's not efficient for the sake of building the gym-going habit desu

okay
