dropped the neet life and became a freelance translator a few months now, I love having a job dont get me wrong its just that I though that getting money and buying the stuff you like would make the feels go away, but it doesnt, they still here
No but i am going to school for IT. No one else in my class lifts
My school causes me to miss some days of gym sometimes. It's not what i want, and I'd go every single day if i could. But it is what it is
Yes IT... I think it's good because physically I can recover but bad because I get stressed out and aggrivated when dealing with end-users.
I am very polite and I don't care if someone is very bad with technology overall but I work for a financial institution and some people are just complete assholes who behave like children when everything isn't perfect.
I get nothing but shit work locally. I've had some cool Shipping jobs that have given me self respect or I'd just be a shelf stacking loser (like i was for 6 years and probably will be again).
Been NEET since january. Can't find work. Makes me feel autistic because finding a job seems genuinely alien and impossible for me. Maybe I am.
It effects my fitness because I stopped training all together for months because I didn't want to get obsessed with my gains and turn down jobs that would effect my training (like i have in the past) and put finding work first but I didn't have any success anyway so I'm back to lifting.
Pick something and specialise kids. Doesn't matter how good your grades are otherwise. People won't hire you because you are the best candidate if their friends kids or uncles cleaners wife is interviewing.
I do IT user, I’m in the AWS cloud business and doing well.
I have plenty of time to workout get home around 5:30 workout for an hour and half and then go to bed and cry.
Sitting at a desk all day is terrible though wouldn’t recommend
In the summers I do pool work for my dad’s company. Repairs, cleaning, building, etc. It’s pretty physically demanding so it takes a long time to recover after workouts. I move a lot though so I’m getting those cardio gains. I just have to eat like 4k+ calories a day to maintain weight
Yeah I just got my degree in an IT related major and just realized I’m gonna kill myself if I sit at a desk at a huge company everyday. Did it last summer and hated every day of it. Did IT at my school with a more open environment and thought it was much more enjoyable and rewarding. Trying to find that type of work as of right now
pretty similar experience.
Living the comfy life of working from home these days but it wont last forever.
It's good to have a fall back.
Career jobs are the real fallback jobs nowadays. They're the only reliable work thats a survivable wage.
What do you do for work in a general sense? I know people who do IT/Technical jobs where they mainly work from home (95%) and have to go in for meetings and whatnot. I originally thought I couldn’t do it but based on how much time is wasted by having to sit in an office all day might prefer this
I analyze tea extract (QA tech)
How exactly do you work as a freelance translator? I mean, where do you find jobs for it?
I just started a position merchandising for Coca Cola, early mornings so worried about my sleep. Used to get 8-9 a night now I’m getting like 6. On the plus side I’m walking about 6-7 more miles a day and slinging cases around for 8 hours
jobless now for 18 months, living with parents. 31 years old. not even looking.
Territory Sales Manager for a major food manufacturer. I drive 3500 miles per month and spend around +/- 6 hours per day in my car, 3x a week. It's based as fuck. I have a "4:30" rule for the gym, I'm in there at either 4:30am or 4:30pm every day. Not necessarily lifting every day, sometimes just cardio/stretching/abs, but I lift well 4x a week and at least jog a mile or two the other three.
Yes, I'm a chad. Yes, I'm a sociopath. Yes, I hate women and normies.
Software dev.
I hope in a few years I can eventually free lance with lax working times so I can work as long as I wish to (or need to, for money reasons). Hoping to overall end with less than 40h/week. Have to build some solid skill set before tho, so I can charge enough money
Counterintelligence shitposter
Go vegan
I start a 7 month welding course in August. I don't know how this will effect my gains.
I work in sales, got a promotion a few months back from manual warehouse job. Finally able to use the on-site gym they provide for us, hit it up on my lunch break. Get a job that has a gym on site.
I work in IT. It motivates me like a motherfucker. All you need is one look at the other guys in the office. Erry single one of them has the arms of a 5 year old boy and the gut of a9 month pregnant woman
Lmao very true. I worked in IT in school and a good amount look like that. Still tons of cool people but maybe 5% would be a semi regular at a gym
online, there are tutorials online for it, thats how I got it
FUCK these mexican blankets are top notch in the winter.
Not IT yet but want to do a masters in datascience or bioinformatics. I lift so I can look good
I fucking work tranlsating phone calls from spanis to english and vice versa, i fucking hate hispanics in the USA with passion.
