I fucking love squatting man
Is hating leg day a meme?
Legs are my weakest lift on average so im not a fan of leg day.
That being said, i try and fucking destroy my legs every leg day. Have to use my hatred to further improve myself.
*sniff*
Fuck off she's mine
Yeah they are. Mine are great, all i do is atg high bar squats whenever i feel like it. Used to be every w.o. but now its less so i can focus on upper body.
What is your favourite leg excercise?
Not just a meme, but like dogshit Facebook tier normie meme. Dom mazetti type shit.
I feel like my brain shuts down whenever I squat and only the weight remains, feels peaceful and miserable at the same time. It'spretty good, like meditation.
It's because a lot of morons can't figure out how to do a proper squat if their life depended on it. Any other reason is false. Unless they're the insecure type that worries about their hips being big.
I don't train legs because you can't see them in the club anyways.
Yes, i am based and redpilled
It was a meme for me, then I btfo'd my knee. Hating leg day is real now.
Helppppp my quads are fucking sore and it's squatday tomorrow. What do i do??
I love Dom. No homo
I don't have a squat rack in my rundown gym, bros...
I hate squats so fucking much because they get all the blood out of my head into my legs and I feel like I'm gonna pass out after every set, and because my right kneecap is pretty loose so I worry it's gonna plop off, which happens to my sister about thrice a year. Fuck squats I hate them so fucking much. Maybe I should just replace them with something else.
Pretty much same.
But I love leg press for some reason.
Haven't been able to squat for over a year because of a hernia. Every time I see someone squatting in the jim, I get fucking jealous.
I don't enjoy leg days no matter what programme I'm currently on. If it conatians deadlifts then it's the only part of it i really like. Anyway I push myself hard and lift heavy on leg days.
Lol
So what excercises do you do?
Ehm decrease the weight, increase reps?
Only fags like squats
I never feel like that with squats. Only exercise where I ever get that "oh shit I'm about to pass out" feel is OHP.
Not him.
(front) squats.
I can really destroy my legs just with this single exercise.
And FYI I just hit 300kg lying leg press.
I FEEL SO S T R O N G
But cannot walk properly right now.
Thanks for your attention Jow Forumsizen

Squats are fun when bulking because you get to throw on more weight each week pretty regularly.
They're not fun when cutting because for me it's one of my first lifts that I get weaker on.
Same. My other lifts are usually able to stay solid during a cut, especially pulling motions like rows and deadlifts. But squats always fucking tank for me when I lose weight. Squatting on a cut feels like you're a tree that's had its base eaten away by beaver so that it's just barely hanging on by a thread.
Squats, imo, squat once they got heavy. I used to love it and couldn't wait to squat. Once I hit about 3.5pl8 it just started to really suck.
I can never go beyond 2pl8 in squats without hurting my kneecaps. I've gotten so many form checks with people saying I have good form, but I still do it every time.

You gotta soften your mental block bro
I know this might be shitty advice, but place your knees slightly sideways and really focus during the excercise on your knee movement
I'll give it a shot. I've been angling my butt further back, and trying to feel it only in my hips, which helps up to a certain weight.
I liked it at first but I started fucking hating it. It's the lift I got the most injuries from to this day. If I do it early in my lifting session I also feel like shit for the rest of the session so all my other lifts suffer. My legs are plenty big compared to my upper body, so I just do 2-3 heavy sets of squats or deadlifts once a week each.
195x5 OHP
i hate leg day, but go all out on leg day anyway, hardest part is cause of diabeetus i get DOMS lasting for 4 days every time, first 2 days are really unbearable where I cant even walk like normal human being
It's just for functional strength... nothing to do with aesthetics... It's a bit boring.
Just as a suggestion. I also have a lose knee-cap but I don't have any problem with it when I do deadlifts for some reason. If it's the same for you just do deadlifts and drop squats altogether. I did deadlifts and no squats for 2 months and then I started doing squats again to see if I made any progress. My deadlift went from 375 to 410 and my squats went from 300 to 340 without squatting once. Almost felt like my knee was going to collapse when I walked in the 340, so I'm not going to do that again any time soon. Seeing my progress, I don't know if I'll ever do anything but moderate intensity squats now.
>needing any reason to lift heavy ass weights other lifting heavy ass weights
Hernia!!
So few months ago trying to make my squat PR. Felt a click on the right side of my groin. Feel some pain. Touch and look for hernia. Find nothing. Got fever that night with UTI like symptoms. Take OTC azo dye. Get better. Ever since scared shitless by squats. Does it sound like I dodged the hernia bullet? Any liftbros have had similar experience?
Thanks!
clean and front squat then
