RRRREEEEE, I can't take it anymore lads. I'm balding at an accelerating rate. I'm pushing norwood 2.5 here (no hair loss in the back though). Anyone manage to stop this without going on finastride? I don't want to fuck up my dick or lifts.
Any hope on minax/tea tree oil and shit? I'm thinking of just wearing a hat every day for the rest of my life. Don't tell me to just shave it as I don't have the skull for it and don't even wanna hear it.
i recently started using peppermint oil (maybe a month ago) and it's helped a lot, you have to mix it with castor oil or a shampoo/conditioner tho, leave it in for 20 min and wash out, do once a day. there's some decent study about it on google have a look
Cooper Mitchell
Do you only use peppermint oil? I've see peppermint oil, tea tree oil, minoxidil, and derma rollers all used as alternatives to fin but don't know which/how much to use.
Brandon White
onion juice (if it changes it to onions i mean 0nion, been so long since i posted anything about them)
Oliver Brown
shave it brother. the sooner you accept it the sooner you can move on.
Gavin Reed
Why wouldn't you hop on fin? Only 0.6% of clinical trial respondents developed erection problems - this is below the baseline 1.5% of men in their 20s who spontaneously develop erection problems during a given 6 month period. If anything it lowers your risk of erection problems.
Liam Hernandez
Will it affect my lifts though? I like being a high T male benching 3 plate..I don't wanna risk that.
Ayden Miller
False & outdated study. Friendly reminder you are chemically castrating yourself.
It's like having an oil leak in your car, so you decide you throw out almost all the oil (or reduce it by 70% like fin does with DHT) so your car stops leaking.
Jacob Walker
Not him, but fuck you. We shouldn't accept shit. That's what this tread and whole board is for.

Get on finasteride. You must choose. Go bald, or halt it in its tracks and potentially regrow some hair and risk potential negative side effects.
I've been on it for almost a year and had no side effects at all. In fact I started at 29, started lifting at the same time and have added 100 pounds to my bench at the same time over the course of my first 9 months of lifting. So it didn't söy me either.

Gyno is one of the risks and I had gyno my whole life and only recently got gyno surgery. I can't go through that again. Think I'd honestly take being bald over bitch tits.
>thought i saw a baldpatch in the crownish area >buzzpill immediately >once its super short i notice it was probably a cowlick >but my hair has a mix of blonde orange and dark red hairs that make it really hard to tell if im actually thinning or just light haired >hairline is matured but my forehead is still small as fuck so if i am thinning its probably diffused I WANT OFF OF THIS ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS
there are dozens of independent studies that show minimal risk of side effects
David Torres
Since when is gyno a significant risk for it? What percentage of people developed that? And how did you develop it in the first place?
Joseph Thompson
That's just a widow's peak, you drama queen. Settle down.
Ian Perez
It is one of the listed potential side affects on the site and I have heard of one person getting gyno from taking fin. No clue what the actual percentage is, probably less than 1% as it doesn't seem super common.
I got gyno when I went through puberty (a lot of boys do, something like 1 in 2 now). But gyno often goes away for boys after puberty but it never did for me.

>at most notice one or two hairs fall out any given day only get a hair or two in my comb >still scared im balding
If it's that important to you, why not going to Turkey and getting a hair transplant? It's around 3000 euros, flight ticket and hotel room included
Sebastian Smith
It also lowers your aggression and ability to think logically, what people call the "brain fog". If you have any sort of value at all to society your profession requires a lot of thinking.
This is probably a good thread to ask this question: Rob from perfect hair health endorses the whole "tight scalp" theory, which says amongst other things that the balding area of your scalp should be tigther than the haired area. However, while doing massages I've noticed that my balding areas (receding corners) are actually much looser than the areas of scalp that have full thickness of hair. I can pinch the skin on my corners and pull it away from the scalp, and fold it. I can't do that with my scalp in other areas, particularly the area above the nape of my neck is tightest. I have noticed though that my corners are often slick with oil when I touch them, which I figure isn't a coincidence. Any thoughts from knowledgeable anons?

ive been on finasteride for 14days, reading up about the side effects is a never ending journey. Like with most things, try it for yourself, and see if it works for you. I have not noticed lower sexdrive or brainfog, but its too soon to tell iguess. Seeing as how my allergy medication against the summer has almost the same if not worse side effects with a 100% higher risk of it showing, im taking the crazed alarmist with a grain of salt. Try it out, you will thank yourself in 10 years if you did not try it out now. Im 26 and are just starting to see signs of getting fucked, you'd never think im loosing hair, and i wanna atleast get on it while i have the chance to save most of it. Its more likely that i wont really see any side effects at all, and if i do ill just stop taking them. But atleast i tried and will never wonder what if on this medication during this time period for my hair.
Joseph Roberts
I will also add that there are small black hairs dotted all over my corners, which may not have been there before, and that when I was doing the massage previously (I would kind of do it every once in a while) I would sometimes feel something crunch in the balding areas, and I would occasionally pinch stuff between my fingers when I pinched the skin and feel it crunch and give. This no longer happens.

Being this worried about your hair
Have sex
Ryan Edwards
I don't think that's true. They take hairs from follicles not affected by mpb on the back of your head.
Eli Fisher
massaging your scalp obviously is beneficial, as it increases blood flow by relaxing the muscles (pretty much what minoxidil does btw). At the end of the day that won't be enough though to stop androgenic hairloss (if you should have it). Theories about skin thickness and whatnot are very dodgy and not endorsed by any dermatologist.
Carter Howard
Stop now. You might still get PFS even if you do, but you might save yourself. Don't do this shit to yourself.
Elijah Jackson
Dont listen to this retard. Ive been on fin for 3 years and nothing changed exept my hair is perfect. PFS is pretty much a myth and those that claim to have it stink of autist with deeper problems.
lmao look at this crab in the bucket baldo. don't listen to fear mongers like this they're just too far gone to be saved by medication so they want to drag everyone down with them.
t. been on fin for a month after being scared of it for years cause of fags like this and not a single side effect
Adrian Wilson
same, I'v been on finasteride for 26 days now, 0 side effects whatsoever, fuck all the miserable nowrood 6s trying to brin others to their level
Benjamin Hill
I've been on Fin since 2017. The two noticeable affects are that my hair grew back and my cum got slightly runnier. Everything works and feels exactly the same down there. Easy trade, IMO.
Don't listen to the alarmists.
Brayden Hughes
I got a 3 month supply of minodixal from amazon for 10 bucks and a bottle of biotin shampoo for 10 bucks. I havent tried it yet, dont expect it to work so i got the cheapest i could find. But i havent tapped out to baldness yet either
Angel Mitchell
i'm on fin and this happen to me quite a lot, it's not constant and depend on the day tho
Henry Evans
Other user hit the nail on the head. Try growing a nice beard. There are ways to make lack of hair look better. I'm afraid one day I'll have to do it myself. I'm at a less-advanced stage of for reference. If you don't want to shave it, just go for fin or whatnot. I'll probably give it a shot someday
Justin Anderson
I'd recommend any man balding before their 40s especially if they are white to get the hair transplant.
