There two very simple truths about short people.

1. Their cross-sectional strength is higher.
2. If their organs are of comparable size to a taller person then those organs will be more effective at doing their job.

Blood pumps less distance, more test produced per lb of body weight, etc.

The closer you are to the ground the easier it is to lift heavy weight. Imagine if it took you half a second more or less, at the same pace, to finish a lift. That would change your entire set.
