My shoulders and my posture are all kinds of fucked up. I have spent years trying to figure out how to bench with my pecs, perfecting my form, etc. When I lie on my back and feel my pec with one hand and move the other arm at different angles, mimicking the bench press movement there is pretty much no point where my pecs contract noticeably. Let's say I do a wall push up to feel which movement and angle causes my pec to contract, there simply isn't one. I simply can not recreate any pushing movement that engages my pecs enough to even notice that they are flexing. Now bringing my arms across the chest, squeezing, etc. that gives me insane contractions.

So in order to activate your chest, focus on keeping your arms as close to your chest as possible. Do this next time you bench press and you will be reborn.
