working on it, im in the middle of a plateau right now for some reason

I have plateaus every now and then, probably water weight as a few days later I lost a shit ton of weight

Had a slice of cheesecake, 2 scoops of ice cream in a cone, and an order of alfredo pasta today. I graduated today and my parents made me go out and I guess I went overboard. I still think I'm in a deficit though

its been a month, but recently i weighed myself and i began dropping again, but i weighed myself this morning and it was back at my plateau weight.

Just stick with it and you'll make it. If you feel weak and eat some chocolate, compensate with cardio or something.

i did everything i could except add cardio already, recalculated tdee, adjusted diet, make extra sure im adding EVERYTHING to myfitnesspal. I think im back on track right now, and i'm gonna start putting my scale readings in an excel spreadsheet

Even if diet is the most important, if you haven't already, start lifting so your body keeps the muscles you have and get your protein RDI.

My weightloss sped up a ton and heartrate went from 80 resting to 62 resting after I added cardio every other day. It sucks and is boring but if you stream movies or something to watch it aint so bad.

If your knees are fucked like mine are the cross trainer still works very good and don't aggrevate the pain

I warm up with an hour of cardio on lift days, as far as I can tell it hasn't negatively affected my lifts, weak as they may be. Then cardio on offdays out in nature. Sure you can just eat less and ignore cardio but it's hard to get the fuckton of protein you want without overextending on calories

also if im being honest with myself my diet isn't exactly "clean" but it worked down to this point. I literally cut 25 pounds eating nothing but mcdonalds and long john silvers for my one meal and boosting protein with supps. i should probably clean up my diet and cut normally.

If you have a bar in a convenient place, you can do many sets of 1 rep throughout the day.

Really coming to enjoy my yoga practice. Can't wait until I can do crazy poses. I'm doing Yoga with Adrienne's 30 day challenge. It's challenging but joyful. Also doing reddit's calisthenics routine and c25k. Walking 10km a day and limiting myself to 1500 nutritious calories. Gotta hit all the bases. I want to be 150lb by mid-september (currently 176) and 107lb by next February.

My obesity is all about my mental health. I know what I should eat, I know how to count calories, how much protein I need, and so on. But I emotionally eat, if I don't eat I feel a lot of anxiety. How the fuck do I tackle this? Is there a form of therapy that's suited for me? "Discipline" and "stop being a little bitch" isn't enough for me, I need mental help.

But the thing is that I don't have anxiety for a specific reason (that I can think of anyway), it's just fucking there.

If you fix the diet and do cardio the anxiety will start to vanish. Your stomach works with your serotonin and eating the wrong (shitty) foods will cause anxiety. The other option is they put you on an ssri. Just make small and gradual changes. Start by having a banana, yogurt, eggs and a whey shake for breakfast. Every week eliminate bad shit and add in better healthier shit

you're not letting yourself admit what it is, that's where a counsellor can help you.
then once you know what it is you have to expose yourself to it repeatedly, or take action in your life that removes it (depending on what it is).
you're using eating as a coping mechanism, so latent anxieties come to the surface when you stop.
it's not exactly atypical behaviour amongst fatties, but some people have a tougher time with it than others.

also this, most fatty anxieties tend to come from underlying fears about your health, early death, wasting your life, being judged by others, etc.
usually just sorting your shit out is the cure.

I've had the same problem for a long time, but I sort of had a breakthrough where I decided to meditate and throw out all entertainment including the internet. I noticed how I pretty much only ate because I wanted to do it while consuming something else. You also have to learn that food only lasts 5 minutes, and is not worth the pain that comes afterwards.
