doing wendler's monolith now, I am about to finish the 3rd week. I have grown considerably.
just want to find a new program before finishing this one. and seeing everyone in the gym doing farmer's walk makes me wanna do it.

Should I do farmers walks in a trap bar if I have it, or just good ol' dumbells? Seems the trap bar has the advantage of progressive overload, though you could always build weight through increasing volume on dumbells though

If you want to get laughed at, beat up, then shit on in the locker room, then yes, by all means use a trap bar.
If you're serious about Farmer's Walks, you use the proper axles and load on an absolute minimum of 90 pounds on each side. The axles are typically around 20 pounds.
No axles in your gym, just use some heavy dumbbells. Oh, and no wrist wraps. When we see people doing Farmer Walks with wrist wraps its an immediate beta male soiboy.
