Say I have food a that is a very sugary, fast foody-y type shit with like 350kcals

Then I have food b which is super green veggie unsalted with 350kcals as well

If I eat food a or b it's actually the same thing?

you'll feel like shit and sugar-crash and get hungry again quickly after food a, but weight-wise it's the same. b is just the better choice because it has more nutrients, less calories (so you get to eat more) and will make you feel satisfied for longer.

i was imagining just comparing who lost the most pounds in a given week. but it could be done by percentage points of total weight just as easy.

Yes it is bad. You need to measure the milk your drinking its pretty much like soda.

Peanutbutter is also calorie dense and you could be consuming three hundred calories from it and not notice.

are you doing cico? most luxuries can be worked into a deficit, if you can enjoy sensible portions. regarding your body pain, consider seeing a physiotherapist. i did and it was very helpful.

you'd be surprised how you get used to it, i actually dislike coffee with milk and sugar now because i've been drinking it black for so long.

Good quality coffee tastes the best when served black, you just need to buy the good stuff!

Anyone else doing body weight workouts? What big exercises should I do to train many muscle groups at the same time? Doing dips, push ups, squats and some ab exercises

IF and 700 calories a day combined with lifting is so extreme (and good) that there is literally nothing else you could do. Maybe only eat once a day but the impact is probably minimal.

If you're exercising and lifting, you're gaining muscle as well as burning fat. Muscle weighs more than fat. So judging your progress by body mass alone isn't an effective way of tracking how you're doing.

Paying attention to the shape of your body, and taking measurements of your waist, thighs, and arms is the patrician way of measuring progress.

Fatty here. I wanna lift but have 0 knowledge & am scared to go to the gym. Will getting a personal trainer help my anxiety? Are they helpful (and worth money)? What constitutes "good" trainer?

You can get a personal trainer if you want, but exercise is only effective if you do it regularly and often. Most people can only afford to see one once a week tops. And going to a personal trainer once a week isn't going to get you much in the way of results.

A lot of people see going to a personal trainer once a week as the solution to their problems but honestly I think they just mentally think "spending money on something = doing something about it"

If you want guidance for where to start then I'd recommend going to see one once to get them to do you a programme that you can do yourself at least every other day at the gym

Started to wake up at 6:30 am most days. I feel like I could do a hour of cardio before going to work. Just jogging.

220lbs, started eating eggs for my 500 calories instead of just yogurt and bananas. Somehow it’s more filling, might start throwing some chopped onions and spinach in with the eggs. I realize it’s a lot of water weight and at this point probbaly onlya round 3lbs of actual fat loss, but I’m 20lbs from how long I intend to do this shit. If it keeps going like this 6 weeks should be all I have to do this before resuming a normal 500 calorie deficit. Each day it gets easier.

Been going to the gym 3x a week for a little while now but I'm just now starting to take my diet seriously.
Still choosing what's right for me, but hoping for a higher protein count and lower carb count to counter any chance of me getting diabetes while I low the enormous amount of weight I need to lose.
