SS+GOMAD

SS is the most boomer program but it’s still good

>home gym
>no actual routine
>lax diet
>full body workout twice a week
>fat wife who's Gillian Michael's dvd's have collected almost as much dust as my dick.
>no worry about gains, just enjoy the lifestyle
It's not so bad

>1x20 curl machine
>1x20 chest press machine
>1x20 row machine
>1x20 quad extension machine
>”you ready to go son? this is all I really need to do I’m not trying to get too big ya know.”
>mfw this is literally what my dad did the last time I took him to the gym

>homegym
>no real routine
>just have days where I choose a combination of 3 from a selection of squat, bench, dead, OHP, dips, and pull-ups
>blast pantera through the speakers

That boomer is me right now.

I mean, 4 exercises is actually perfect.

lmao this

And the older they get, the more impressive the stats and feats of strength get.

>>fat wife who's Gillian Michael's dvd's have collected almost as much dust as my dick.

Have my upboat

either bench and curls, or a 3 day split: chest/back/arms and legs once a month

Based on this actual boomer in my gym
>Cheat curls 5x12
>Shrugs (with like a ¼" ROM) 3x20
>Supine grip lat pulldowns (with supreme layback) 5x12
>Upright rows 3x8
>Seated calf raises 3x20
Everything must be performed with straps, even the calf raises

>"until I got injured of course"

talking to your boomer friends instead of working out and leaving your water bottle at the machines.

Nautilus circuits

Post pic of dad's body

Kek this. Also desperately trying to hold on to youth with HRT

Hillary Rodham Tlinton?

spending 30 minutes on the incline bench while wearing sunglasses
i'm not kidding, there's genuinely a boomer at my gym who does this. he's pretty buff and lifts relatively heavy weight so i think he's based

>tfw I actually did bench 315 in my 20s before I got injured

Walking around the locker room swinging your dick around without having worked out xF

My young Zoomer friends, you evidently know nothing about Boomers.

>compound lifts
>heavy weight
>progressive overload/periodization

Boomers would never touch such a program. Their kind was all about fluffing up their sarcoplasmically-inflated, useless, soft physiques on machines and with light dumbbells, "feeling the burn", using idiotic 14-18 rep ranges etc. etc.
SS is worlds more sophisticated and effective than their ridiculous, synthetic, shallow idiocy in the gym.

>boomer
>based

Almost certainly not. They are straight up mentally damaged as a group.

yea but so are u so why should i believe u

Because I'll rape you

ok now thats a convincing argument

I'll sperm in your gouged eye

probably one prescribed by their doctor. i saw this one boomer at the park doing stretches after each damn set

My gfs dad is a bloatlord and he only does heavy compounds
Also one of those guys that tells me all about the numbers be lifted 30 years ago

Zoomer lies

This.

Doing one set of 8 on a machine then sitting there eyeing up other lifters mumbling to themselves about steroids and how Arnold was natty

Lmao this

Either 5/3/1 BBB or Texas Method.

Boomers do the 45 minute full-body workout on all the meme machines that are set up at the local Crunch.

Pic related with high reps and light weights.

>muh 5/3/1

are you me?

I love going to crunch because everyone is a dyel on meme machines or the "HIIT" room pushing a sled

>implying people before Rippetoe were not lifting heavy
>implying people before Rippetoe didn't become strong

Crunch is a funny place. I hate that it doesn't have real power racks - it has one sort-of-rack, plus a Smith machine (NEVER!).

But it has two racks for squatting in the stupid cross training area, along with the punching bags and other stupid meme shit.

That said I gotta say like 60% of people just do cardio, and a further 20% just do that and fucking curls. So not bad if you wanna compound lift.

Shoulders chest and biceps twice a week for 2h but spending 4h at the gym, talking to girls 30 years junior, and telling young guys how to lift.

It's entirely possible that medicine ball chest workout are superior to bench press. Buy my supplements and kettlebells.
Pull that up, Jamie!

Hello future me

Making it.

>315
>Heavy
Get a load of these babies
>inb4 post body
I can't lift that either
