What is the best way to shave your face and body?
Safety Razor?
Dollar Shave Club?
Gillette?
Electric Shaver like Braun?
Safety Razor intimidates me because I fear slitting my own throat with it

DE safety razors, they're easy as shit to use if you're not a retard and take things carefully.
I bought a hundred pack of blades last year for cheap and I don't think I've gotten halfway through them
Do NOT use on your junk
You posted it. That thing is incredible. I cannot believe I fell for the (((disposable razor))) jew. I have about a years worth of razors for the cost of one package of (((disposable razors)))
How do you safely dispose of the razor blades?
Why shouldnt u shave ur junk with it?
Don't forget how those (((disposable razors))) don't fit with other handles.
What brand do u recommend. Where do u get the razors and safety razor
I will buy a gillette soon, have been using safety razor for 5 years but I had much fever facial hair and my jawline makes it difficult to not cut myself now.
Don't worry, its not that difficult to shave with safety razor, just start slow. Probably you will get yourself cut a little but its an experience.
I love mine especially since l used to clog up the disposable shitters, these ones you can open up and clean they last forever
Veet hair removal
Sadly I use gillete crap since we don't have dollar shave club in my place.
Tried the DE meme and it's not for me
Maggard Razors have everything, especially good if US because of shippnig.
You can very much use on your junk.
Is it good? I wanted to buy some
(obviously NOT for my face)
is it good for
>back/shoulder hair
>belly hair
also, can I put it around the "snail line" or should I remove all of the belly hair?
>face
merkur safety razor
>body
electric wireless shaver
I have tried all types of razors (straight, safety, electric, 5 blade, etc) and these boys are unironically the best shaving tools I've used.
Curious bout your experience about DE
Fuck i live in canada
So electric and veet are best for body?
So any 2 bladed disposable razor?
Damn I mean shipping won't be that high to Canada either, my Sweden is another question...
Depends on your race
No, these specific Gillette ones. I'm not sure why but they do their job extremely well with little to no irritation and can easily get under the nose hairs.
reminder gilette made an ad advocating for all men to be soibois
Safety razor. You can shave for the rest of your life for like $100 and get a better shave. You can’t just hack at your face like a retard though so be aware of that.
I just use an electric shaver since I'm low test and my facial hair grows very slowly
Recently switched to a safety razor. Best decision I’ve ever made. Also started using a lather cream with a brush. It’s a little extra work, but it makes shaving a bit more fun and meaningful. I noticed that I wasn’t getting as much acne, and my skin felt much better. Cartridge razors have 5 blades, so every single stroke is 5 blades going over your skin. Adds up fast if you do multiple strokes in one area. That said, the shave won’t be quite as close, but it beats cutting your hair below the surface of your skin like a cartridge razor does. They tug at your hair and cut it way too short. It’s also going to be much cheaper over time. One of those classic ‘high initial investment, save money in the long run’ kid of deals. I went with Vikings blade for everything. Hoping to make the move to a straight razor eventually. 10/10 would recommend
Do you need to dip the blade in alcohol solution to prevent rusting?
>face
Safety razor

I trim
Warning to all those thinking safety razor after all this advice: if you get ingrown hairs, DO NOT GET A SAFETY RAZOR
Samefag. You can get a close shave with a safety razor, you’ll just have to do more one or two more passes. Even with three passes, it’s still less razors across your skin than a cartridge razor. I’m burgermilitaryfag and one pass is plenty and doesn’t get me called out. First pass is with the grain, second across, and third against. Second pass is for a nice date or if you’re in a suit. Third pass is for transcending time and space.
Dude, it's called a SAFETY razor. You can't cut yourself deep with it, and can only cut yourself a teensy bit if you move it sideways like an idiot.
That said, I got one and have been shaving with it for over a year now and they really aren't that much better than disposables.
These allow any retard to have a close, irritation free shave, which can not be said about safety razors. So in many ways these are superior.
Do yours get worse with a safety razor? Cartridge seem more likely to cause them because it cuts the hair to below skin level. Black guys that get razor bumps from ingrown hairs are usually recommended safety razors because it cuts even or slightly above skin level. Idk I guess everyone has a different experience.
>they really aren't that much better than disposables.
imo safty razors give a much worse shave than any multi-blade head.
>don't use in junk
If you are a bitch lol
I'm black and I did a safety razor for 6 months. Shit cut me up like a lawn mower, no matter what I did.
No, the best thing for me so far is shaving with a grain, with a 2 or 1 bladed disposable razor.
>Curious bout your experience about DE
if I can't get dollar shave club, I had to order the DE and cream and blades from amazon
it was okay, learned the gist of it, got to a speed close to normal shaving (but still slower)
it didn't cut close enough. and going against the grain wasn't good on my skin.
So I'm back to gillete razors (3 blades)
but at least I found a Nivea 0% alcohol which is better than the commercials creams
Hey, whatever works twerks. Post feet
Don't forget that foam from can is shit too and you need shaving brush. This stuff is really something pleasuring to use.

Modern cartridges - worst thing man can get.
> Electric Shaver like Braun?
Depends. I'm like to have fast and baby butt smooth skin after shaving and electric ones doesn't give it to me.
> Safety Razor intimidates me because I fear slitting my own throat with it
Nuh, you're just retard. It is "SAFETY" razors.
Bitch, probably you had too aggressive razor head, yes they all different, and had shitty technic.
Muhle, Jugger, Yaqi, Merkur. Old Gillette's.
impossible to cut your shit up with a safey razor unless you're hacking away at your face like a mong
>I'm black
why
dont shave, trim
get yourself a nice electric trimmer and never look back to the misery you have faced before
I use a single edge shavette type bald and I just put the used ones in a soda can.
Ask my parents
Try asking instead of assuming. I tried all kinds of different razors, worked on my "technique" (learn to spell, dumbass) and it would still cut me. The shit is horrible for those who get ingrown hairs regularly, especially on their neck.
also if you want to shave your junk buy one of these at the store, it's completely foolproof
Which one do u use
Safety razor with bic or wilkinson razors
Does the job and costs 20x less than disposables
I'd definitely agree when I just started out. But now I've stuck with it for a while, I'd say it is about as good, since its much much cheaper you can swap out blades regularly and get some better shaving soap and aftershave. The price difference really shouldn't be understated. I bought a pack of 200 blades for 10 dollars. It really is dirt cheap.
seconding the Bodygroom for junk shaving
What after shave and shaving soap do you use?
Butter?
peppermint?
just a cheap 30$ waterproof trimmer from local tech store
brand is braun, dont think thats important
you dont have to sharpen or exchange blades, just charge up the batteries every now and then
>Safety Razor intimidates me because I fear slitting my own throat with it
you fucking can't that's why it's "safe", just "pull" the handle like it's a rake and let the razor trail behind. Don't drag the razor sideways.
>also, can I put it around the "snail line" or should I remove all of the belly hair?
yeah, just be careful when you apply it and you can keep the snail trail
> Try asking instead of assuming.
Nope.
>I tried all kinds of different razors
Which one? Tell me not only brand.
> learn to spell, dumbass
Learn second language, cunt.
not avaliable in canada. atleast not the good model
it comes in a paper package, when I remove the old one I put it in the new ones package so you cant get cut by it
safety razors are amazing. they give you the cleanest shave, they're easy to use (don't believe those idiots who say they're hard to use), they're much better than straight razors and the blades are cheap.
just don't be one of those elitist boomer retards who buy 30 different razors. just buy one that's not dirt cheap, a good soap and a couple of blade boxes and you're good to go
Make sure you rinse it off thoroughly or it will literally burn through your flesh
Safety. I made the switch from plastic a few months ago. Absolutely the best and closest shave I've ever had. I feel genuinely retarded for not doing it from the get-go when I first got facial hair at like age 13.
for shaving soap I use the "Proraso Sapone Tutte le Barbe", cheap, lasts long, smells good. For aftershave you should try out different ones based on your skintype. My skin gets very dry after shaving, so most of the time I just use Nivea Creme to rehydrate it.
i bought your pic related (merkur) recently and thats pretty much what i can recommend. also the blades are cheap.
I’ve got a stainless steel one that I’ve had for years and it just gets wiped down when I change blades & I polish it up with a towel to look nice about every 3 months.
When I got into it I just bought a used one on ebay and soaked it in alcohol. Too many people think they need these $80 ones on amazon that are made to gather money from retar- collectors.
In the US, Dollar Tree sells a butterfly turn to open (TTO) with five blades for $1. It's a clone of the old Gillette Superspeed from the 60s. I bought a couple of these on a lark and have been using one of them for three months now.
You can get a Lord L6 3-piece for anywhere from $6 to $10 either online or at the muzzie shop on the corner if you're in Europe. I bought one of these about 10 years ago and it's unbreakable.
Walmart now sells a Van Der somethingorother for about $15 which is a butterfly TTO that looks decent quality, both online and in stores.
All of the above will come with a pack of 5 blades or so.
Blades, buy them in bulk. You can get a box of 100 for $10 online of brands like Astra or Derby. They come in a box with 20 packs of small little 5-blade units for sale in the Paki shops I guess, the little plastic box has five paper-wrapped blades and on the flip side there's a slot for you to dispose of used blades safely.
I use either hand soap or a bit of shampoo instead of shaving soap or cream. You can shave cheap forever on like $20 of supplies last you over 2 years.
I like the yellow Bic single-bladed disposable best. Get a dozen for under $3. Just as safe, the single blade allows better rinsing/cleaning between shaves than the double-blade versions, and bonus, you can shave off the callus from deadlifting with them once you're finished using that one on your face for a week.
For soap, either whatever bar or hand soap is by the sink, or a bit of the same shampoo that we use in our house for hair.
For aftershave, rubbing alcohol. Seriously.
Most blades are stainless. If you buy carbon blades, yes, if not, no. Personally I keep a little plastic cup with lid in the cabinet with some alcohol, and after I shave and rinse it, I dip it there and leave it for a couple of minutes while I do something else (like shower, or shit) then hang up the razor.
The only right choice.
Started with a Safety a few weeks ago, used to use shit disposables and holy crap the difference. Its fucking 10/10.
What's a common chain I can walk in to (not order online) to get DE blades from in Canada?
I'm traveling light and I don't want to pay the luggage check fee just for razor blades (not allowed on carry-on)
Ignore this pussy it's easy to shave your junk with a safety razor, just be careful. literally did it today and the only thing i can say is an issue is that it tickles your balls slightly which is off putting, potentially leading to a cut. save yourself some money and get a safety razor
You dumb motherfuckers, being black actually makes a difference with this, as you are VERY likely to have naturally curly beard hairs as well, which results in higher risks of ingrown hairs.
Using normal razors with a shave that is too close might result in ingrown hairs which are a pain in the ass to deal with.
Also need to make sure your exfoliation and hidration game is on point for yourskin.
t. white dude who likes shaving. I use a safety razor. Not aggressive though. You have to look at reviews and pick one that will be good for you. Some people rather go with aggressive razor heads as their skin tolerates it better.
If you're fine with the disposables, ok, but i is a lot of plastic that adds up to being used.
Buzzing into a five o clock shadow seems to be the best for my skin health.
Only shave with a razor for times you really need to
In America, most larger drug stores will have them and a Walmart certainly will. In America's Retarded Hat? I don't know. Check the same types of places. You'll pay 3-5x as much easy as buying in bulk but it's still cheaper than the cartridge system bullshit.
When I traveled, I always just went for the single-bladed yellow Bic disposable which I mentioned above, you get a dozen for $3 and I throw one into the carry-on. Still way cheaper than the cartridge bullshit and still a good shave.
>my jawline makes it difficult to not cut myself
no, your retarded caveman brain makes it hard not to cut yourself
>safety razors because it cuts even or slightly above skin level
where are you getting this from? a decent safety razor should cut closer than cartridges
Not who you're replying to but a lot of stuff (like razor commercials) that explains this as cartridges pulling the hair up and out right before cutting so it retracts back under skin level which I think is probably bullshit. I had awful problems with in grown hairs when I was a teen but not anymore. Might have a lot more to do with hormones, hair texture, technique....
This. I’ve tried a million variants of razors and they all leave my skin looking like a burn victim. Now I just use electric razor then use a disposable razor just to finish off any spots I miss.
I find safety good, fresh razor blade and you're good to go. Just bugs me that I can't quite get under the nose
>When I traveled, I always just went for the single-bladed yellow Bic disposable which I mentioned above, you get a dozen for $3 and I throw one into the carry-on. Still way cheaper than the cartridge bullshit and still a good shave.
When I first started shaving years ago and years and years ago those tore up my face something fierce but I don't think I'm as susceptible to that anymore due to no longer being a teen and technique. Are they roughly comparable? Might just do that for a few days if I can get acceptably good shaves out of it.
nice trips, satan.
i buzz my beard with clippers that i also use for my hair. works fine, just do it once every fortnight or so.
you have to really work at cutting deep with a straight/safety razor the key is to let the blade sit on your skin and to not press down on the edge that said expect to cut up your face if you go the safety/straight razor route for the first few times but with practice you should rarely cut yourself
Eh not really, I tried out a DE for the first time the other week and I get way less razor burn than I did with disposable razors that I'd wait way too long to replace. Coincidentally, my acne has almost completely gone away since I made the switch. Not entirely sure if they're related, but it could be due to shit not accumulating in between blades
Made me switch to a safety razor. I should almost thank them, because I shave every day and using a single blade is much better for my skin.
at least in my case I'm pretty sure its because I shed skin quite easily so shaving with the straight razor really scraps off the gunk off closer blade contact perhaps?
i hate shaving, when it grows back it feels bad. i just use machine to cut 1mm stubble
They are called safety for a reason.
>Do NOT use on your junk
Doing this for years, no issues and smooooooooth balls.
use an electric razor with a #2 guard on it to trim your junk. unless you're a pornstar it's not really worth the itch of going bald down there
reason is that they're not just a blade.
you can still easily fuck yourself up if you don't know how to use one.
