explain yourself faggot

There are many retards on Jow Forums

friend of mine tried this at a restaurant recently, seems like unless you are careful when cooking, or use a pan, it gets very dry and cardboardy.

Mexicans can't even pick lettuce without putting ecoli in it, pasta sauce is getting recalled because retards put plastic in it, what makes you think this magic fake meat with 400 processing steps isn't going to end up contaminated with some bullshit? How would you even know if it happened, since it's a complex product essentially made by alchemy?

Also how can the "whole food plant based" retards shill this, considering this is as far from "whole food" as it's possible to get?

It's not meat and not a burger. It's adequate food. Plant proteins aren't quite as good as animal proteins.

Literally lmaoing

I'd wait for a few months first to see if any health incidents happened over this artifical shit

>Read beyond meat on a menu at a restaurant
>Thought to myself, wow incredible, this is probably going to be like 3 beef patties, extra bacon, and pulled pork to top it off
>It's fucking plant shit
Beyond meat is a stupid fucking name for something that is less than meat.

>no animals suffering
Fuckin hippies lmao

It's fucking delicious. Not as meat-like as I expected, but a great veggie burger. Texture, taste, and look are all great, macros are good, ingredients sensible (no wierd shit, no soi). A bit pricey, but I'm hoping economies of scale will make it cheaper soon.

There's no sensible reason to not at least try this unless one has made anti-veganism a kind of principle or meat-eating some kind of identity.

I have resolved to eat at least a small amount of meat every single day because I hate vegans so much

>canola oil

>I'm not only OK with animals suffering for my pleasure, I insist on it! If chosing between two almost identical products in terms of taste, price and nutrition, I will intentionally choose whichever causes the most suffering. Why? Because I'm EDGY and hate vegans like the basic bro I am.
Have sex.

imagine being so insecure

have sex cucky

So you let the people you hate control your behaviour? I hope you're joking because otherwise you're a fucking pussy.

I just cooked it like I would any burger, stuck a little bit more to the pan (could be my shitty pan, honestly) and is more like a home-made burger than a ready-made meat patty in terms of consistency (so it will fall apart if you handle it wrong). But no dryness.

>Tastes fucking amazing--literally delicious
>Grills better than any veggie burger so far
>Check those macros
>Plant-based
Still a little more costly than dead cow muscle, so if you eat a lot of animal flesh; it 'd be hard to implement as a long-term alternative.
But I absolutely recommend the Beyond Burger to anyone who wonders if the taste, texture, and nutrition of meat can be reliably recreated without killing an animal. It's fucking based.

Part of the nwo agenda. They want the goyim on artificial fake food. Just another step towards 'soi'lent green. Veganism is part of this agenda. The farther we get from whole food sources, the weaker and more stratified we become.

some day you will eat burgers that made from maggots and other bugs.

for the exorbitant price you get approx 90% of:

- pea protein isolate
- canola oil
- coconut oil
- water

i wonder who could be behind this

Oh, look, the anti-vegans / unwitting beef industry shills are here to tell us about Jew lizards! Wow I wonder when link-guy is going to show up?

BTW, Tyson Foods - the world's second largest processor and marketer of chicken, beef, and pork - is a lead investor in Beyond Meat. Almost like they're exploring alterative sources of revenue and new markets like sensible capitalists, and not serving alien overlord.

My dad fucking hates veganism and loves meat and he has some occisionally just to change things up a bit.

Market forces and cost-minimization strategies from food companies? No, has to be (((someone else))) right?

this

>nutrition of meat can be reliably recreated without killing an animal.

you think protein powder and plant oils are recreating the nutrition of meat?

Nothing wrong with eating less meat or better cuts of meat. But no meat is unhealthy and dangerous. Also tyson's foods is a mega corporation thats part of the problem. Whole foods from ethically sourced local farms is the solution, not some mega processing factory. Nice try with your false dialectic though. Glad to see the astroturfing OP has some premade disinfographics ready to go though.

That's likely highly processed wheat, called Vöner in Finland. The taste is from my opinion 40% from meat, so one of the best substitutes for meat. Pricey at least in Finland.

I ate chicken liver just because I know you don't like it. Die die die

This. In a completely bizarre state of affairs, people claim that meat is horrible and unhealthy for you and that it shouldn't be eaten but then praise to the skies frankenfoods that are plant materials cobbled together to resemble meat, tacitly admitting that the human body naturally craves meat but refusing to admit that this craving is a clue that it might be good for us.
The reality is that meat is good for you and when prepared correctly there is nothing more beneficial to eat. It makes you stronger, improving your bone density, thinking, and musculature. But the reality also is that there isn't enough meat to go around. Since we moved away from small hunter-gatherer communities and into large towns and cities, there never has been. Meat was always restricted to the upper classes - in India only the kshatriya were allowed to consume meat for example. For a grand scale slave-empire civilization to work (which we are) the peasants on the bottom have to be made to subsist on something that preferably makes them more docile and is cheap and easily mass producable. Enter grains! Even today the SAD is vastly grain-based. Ever wonder why pizza is so popular, why it is pushed so hard? Its mostly flour.
Vegans talk about how Americans should eat a plant-based diet when they already do - the average American eats about 70% of his calories from ultimately plant sources. The goal from up top is to get this to 100% - that all of us would eventually be eating cheap, easily producable, subsistable fare to make us effective worker bees.
This is just one more step down the path - get you used to not eating meat. Synthetic foods aren't so bad.

Field burger is better
Hate imitation meat, for me Beyond smells like crap when cooking.
t. vege

Dishonest sophist scum

>no onions
Wow a based vegetarian company for once.

If vegans don't like meat, why do they attempt to recreate the taste and texture of meat, as well as create fake blood with beet juice?

It's almost like the human body naturally craves meat. It's almost like we evolved to eat it.

>those ingredients

Vegans are at the cutting edge of finding new ways to give people diarrhea

Attached: t036a3j3hhf21.jpg (1151x616, 64K)

Of course not, nothing can do that because meat is magical and has unique properties and nutrients that no amount of alternatives or supplements can mimick. So you see, I *have* to eat it, and can thus avoid any and all ethical concerns, not that I care anyway. Checkmate, atheists.

>false dialectic
What the actual fuck are on even on about?

You know what else I wouldn't like? If you punched yourself in the dick. Like that would make me sooooo mad, dude please don't do it!
(And thanx for letting me live rent-free in your head 24/7!)

It's a novelty of course everyone's gonna be all over it. I'm curious to try it although I've heard it tastes like cardboard

1) It's aimed at meat-eaters who want to reduce meat consumption and not vegans.
2) Some vegans are ethical vegans and actually LIKE meat, but choose not to have it due to ethical concerns. They miss the taste of burgers and want a vegan alternative.

I drew a quick portrait of you. Am I close?

Gonna buy two bags of pork rinds the next time a vegan ITT talks like a catty gay sarcastic tranny.

Why would someone just go on the internet and tell lies?

Sophistry is the name of vegans' game. If you audited his online post history I GUARANTEE he has deliberately been a twat to meat eaters (I think those faggots use some derivation of the word carnivore because for some reason they think people will see it as an inherent badge of shame).

If veganism was a personal choice not to eat meat, fine, but it is more often an evangelical pursuit whose mission is conversion.

Fuck online vegans hey are the Mormons of the Internet

Line cook here, they are super plain and have a texture like shitty meat. Throw some blackened seasoning on it and call it good.

Lel big AG shills out again
>Don't eat meat
>Eat our high profit margin goyfeed it's good* for you

What's this?

>Some vegans are ethical vegans and actually LIKE meat, but choose not to have it due to ethical concerns. They miss the taste of burgers and want a vegan alternative.
I'd say this is the majority of vegans.

>If you audited his online post history I GUARANTEE he has deliberately been a twat to meat eaters
This, plus when the non-vegan defends himself the vegan will act all attacked and victimized.

in 5 years there will be this same thread but about an Insect-meat-burger

Because they don't know what a real Nazi is. If they did they'd have to revaluate their lives.

insects are pretty good for a snack peppered crickets are pretty good

It tastes like rare meat. It doesn't stay together as well, but I like how you can get the outside crispy, and the inside stays "rare".

>he doesn't know 'big ag' profits immensely from animal agriculture
Read a fucking book, nigger.

Majority ethical vegans? Maybe. Majority like meat? I dunno, I've heard several vegans say they want to avoid the Beyond Burger because it's too much like meat.

Leugne es, SS-Anwärter.
We point to Nazis when we see them. And in a thread about vegetarian meat alternatives, Jews have been referenced half a dozen time already and one of your ranks brought in transexuality?
You may not be a Nazi, but your side harbors them.

>One of those posts merely doubts the actual ingredients.
>One literally call it adequate food.
>One actually agrees for veganism using sarcasm

This is your brain on a vegan diet, or the kind of brains that vegan claims attract.

>You may not be a Nazi, but your side harbors them.
You have to be autistic to say anything like this unironically. Go back to >>>/reddit/ or dialate on discord.

Tyson have invested in this exactly because it isn't healthy and natural - it's another artificial machinated process to roll off the factory line. To them this, chicken and beef are the same.

I've tried it, it tastes decent but it's very expensive and the ingredient list isn't the best. I'm a pescatarian so not at all biased but I think grass fed and pastured beef or real chicken is better when consumed in moderation.

Why THE FUCK do you need 'fake meat' if you've decided to go vegan. Just eat your onions beans and stop being a pussy about it, don't mangle up some plants to make a cargo cult burger.

Nice another fake food to ignore on my way to the cold cuts.

What does shit talking trannies have to do with being a Nazi? Everyone from WW2 would spit on you boy lovers.

>you may not be a communist, but your side harbors them

nice little argument you got there bro, would be a shame if it turned out to be completely fucking retarded

Attached: 1557606625417.jpg (555x563, 47K)

Eat red meat you collosal faggot

>Calling omnivores Nazis.
>While Hitler was a practicing and preaching vegetarian for the last decade of his life.

Well done, user.

Imagine taking your right to eat meat for granted. Reminds me of those foolish cucks who don't want to own guns.

There's nothing inherently bad with being a Communist.

Sometimes I wonder if finding out this fact ever leads people on a journey to discover the truth of ww2 and the gorillions that died...

Tyson invested, because they're hedging their bets. They see the writing on the wall. Current methods of meat production are destroying our planet and are unsustainable.

The involvement of mega-corporations in the meat-replacement sector is not a conviction of vegetarianism. It's a legitimization of part of the vegetarian rationale.

We needn't grow food to feed to animals that will become food. Instead, we could grow more than enough food for everyone on the planet.

And the Beyond Burger is an (imperfect) symbol of what could be possible in a cruelty-free future. There's no reason to mad at it or afraid of it.

Try one. Or don't.

Attached: vegetarian-benefits-5.jpg (490x562, 50K)

Agreed, and I'm not defending the Beyond Burger as 'the best thing ever'. I tried it, it was alright. I might have it occasionally but I prefer my own home-made black-bean burgers, if I can be arsed to take the time to make them.

I'm just astonished at the way anti-vegans think. This product was made to appease meat-lovers and it comes reasonably close to tasting like crappy meat. From what I gather the Impossible Burger is even more believable and closer to the real thing. So at some point it's possible that we have a plant-based burger that tastes EXACTLY like the real deal. With luck it may even be nutriotionally the same or similar. And anti-vegans would STILL hate it. Why? No rational reason. Just this weird hatred of vegans and conspiracy-theory thinking. It pushes some of them to forsake all vegetables and only eat meat. It's just strange and fascinating to me, this obsession with a diet like 2% of people follow.

except for all the deaths they conveniently choose to ignore

have sex, you colossal incel.
FTFY

>I dunno, I've heard several vegans say they want to avoid the Beyond Burger because it's too much like meat.
I think it's more because they associate the taste/texture with animal suffering than not liking the taste, but sure. Also some are really paranoid about accidentally being served real meat, which admittedly has already happened at Burger King or something.

>cold cuts
>real food
Oh no... I have bad news, user.

)))Yes.(((

It makes sense for a company to invest in, and therefore control, a product that could become a major competitor. Whichever way it goes, Tyson profits.

I'd happily kill every racist piece of shit. When did you start thinking that is bad? When you discovered Jow Forums in 2016?

>not eating fake food and supporting trannies makes you a nazi

Then a nazi, I will be

>We needn't grow food to feed to animals that will become food. Instead, we could grow more than enough food for everyone on the planet.
Not if the population expands indefinitely. Retard.
> cruelty-free future
Do you not realize how much non-violent cruelty exists? The world is full of it and your dumb soiburger will not change it. You are retarded.

Smells like spam
Tastes like oatmeal.

I think I saw that at my nearest lidl. How much it cost in the German kaliphate? If it's cheap Imma try some.

yikes

What would be your preferred method of killing racists? What would somebody have to do in order to get on your list of racists? Where is the cutoff between racist and non-racist?

It’s only an “alternative” for taste. The macros are terrible so don’t bother using it for gaining muscle.

Maybe bit of both? Vegan girl I dated refused to have replacements, citing both the reasons you mentioned.

Personally I like the texture of meat, and the smokey taste of bbq. Not a fan of just 'meat-taste', like you'd get from a proper steak, but god a hamburger or a hot dog is just associated with happyness for me so of course I'd like a substitute sometimes.

straight up cringe

Being anti-Jewish is not an exclusively nazi trait. It's what all intelligent people are. Also what's wrong with being a national socalist? Yeah they lost the war back then, so what? It's just a form of socialism

This. Great of you're vegan. Still not beef.

Then start with yourself you europhobic piece of shit.
>le murder ethnic groups in the millions
>but it was fine because they were all racists who didn’t want to be ruled by us

Wooooo you tell em sister!
