I went to the chiropracter once after having back problems because of my old unhealthy job.
At first I tried a normal physical therapist but then just thought I try a chiro as well after seeing some youtube shit because of it.
It was kinda difficult to get my insurance to cover it. I live in a first world west european country but here chiropractors arent recognizes as real medical shit but instead they are "alternative healing" or some shit.
These motherfuckers have only made my back worse. They literally push a few times on your spine untill it cracks and then charge you €50 for it. You are literally inside for 5 minutes. My back pains were so horrible I couldn't even get in and out of bed. The pains were nothing compared to the reason I started looking into that shit to begin with. After 10 times or something I told them to fuck off and never came back again and my back pains disappeared shortly after.
Chiropracters are a meme. They are not real medical professionals and they will only damage your spine. They arent even licensed or have had an education (or at least a real education like a doctor or physical therapist needs) so if you care for your body and spine you should avoid them as the plague.

that's weird, maybe yuropoor docs are just trash due to the state. my appointments are usually over an hour in burgerland. i went to one for lower back pain and left plantar fascitis and within two weeks and it completely went away. after about 6 years of suffering i finally gave in and went to see one. next time pay cash to see a private one who charges higher is all i can say.

My step father is a chiropractor. Growing up my posture was always bad and back hurt, and got worse in high school. Went to every chiropractor, acupuncture, therapist, “specialist” in seven or so states over the course of six years. All of them said one thing or another was wrong or I just had bad “teen” posture.
Got tired of it, went to a real doctor who recommended me to a back specialist. Within one look he realized something hundered of those quaks hadn’t, which was my spine literally not bending. Turned out from xrays and later samples I had a uncommon disease fusing my spinal column, and the real doctors were completely baffled how any human could have looked at my spine and not noticed.

Perfection doesn't exist anywhere. Regular medicine is also full of scammers. Many for example treat nonexisting diseases to make an extra buck. Does that invalidate hospitals? The question therefore should rather be can you find examples that show evidence of actually working.

It's funny how chiropractry isn't considered real medicine yet people decide to spend years getting a masters degree on it to be allowed to practice. You spend 2-3 years in medical school and decide to specialize in pseudoscience.
